RJK_ParticipantI have informed “them” already a couple of times in the past about the already existing tools – “they” didnt seem to be interested at all.
RJK_ParticipantA few modified unity 5 engine profiles that you may try are:
Aerea,Beholder,Black The Fall,Tokyo42,Vortex the Gateway.
Another chance you may have by trying the following profiles:
Victor Vran,Grid 2,Dirt Showdown,lego Jurassic World,Rise of Venice, Tropico 5.
No guarantee though.
RJK_ParticipantNot to blame anybody, many people seem not to know that “the cloud” even exists. I went through my almost 400 profiles a few days ago and keep wondering either vorpx (which i do not beleive) having only a few users, or the cloud just doesnt exist for many users. I would suggest mirroring cloud content to a website so users can see what they can expect. They may register more quickly this way.
RJK_ParticipantThanks for the report! VS 3511972867 is connected to almost every shadow of the game, disabling it makes the game look a bit cheap so i left it ON first. The shader is now set to “shadow” so users can temporarily switch G3D shadow treatment OFF when running into issues.
– Turn OFF G3D shadow treatment when meeting issues with shadows
RJK_ParticipantVery good, thanks !
RJK_ParticipantWe have a profile for Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing transfomed in the cloud that may work with your game. http://rjkole.com/gamestuff/engines/index.php?selgame=Sonic%20&%20All-Stars%20Racing%20Transformed
RJK_ParticipantThanks Parotaku

RJK_ParticipantIf it only happens when using vorpx, go to the vorpx controller page and try different settings. May be this will help.
RJK_Participant1080p shouldnt be a problem at all with the 2080, i can only guess, it may has something to do with the pimax. I am running FO4 with the Vive Pro in 2880*2160 with ~30-60 FPS in most areas (gtx1080ti), though i had to turn down/disable many options. If youre using SteamVR put the superampling slider to 100% or the value that steamVR suggests. May be that will help already.
RJK_ParticipantThat can be only a local problem, the profile is not suppposed to show such a behave, the profile isnt even able to show such a message.
RJK_Participant@matt
Most games start with a note in the top left corner of the monitor, perhaps you missed something important there. IIRC the game has DirectVR, also press ALT+L once your in the game to see what happens.
RJK_ParticipantI do not know what you mean by “VorpX Desktop”.
Though, all you need to do is the following:
-Use DGVoodoo2 2.6
-Copy d3drm.dll, d3dimm.dll, dgvoodooCPL.exe and dgvoodoo.conf into the folder with the games exe.
-Run dgvoodooCPL.exe and under DirectX choose 1024MB or 2048MB Ram and if the game does not support high resoultions, use “force resolution”.
– Make a Vorpx Shortcut to the game (click on Vorpx icon->shortcut)
– Start game through shortcut
RJK_ParticipantJust tried HL2 with 19.2.4 with the same result as above. Must be a local (win7) issue like we have guessed before. (havent made it to win10 yet, yea yea i know
)
RJK_ParticipantPerhaps something worth to mention. I havent tried this with 19.2.4 yet, but Half Life 2 wasnt working here, meaning monitor display as expected with vorpX logo but headset remained black. Now the interesting part: Using the HL2 Profile with other games as a base profile was showing the same effect while the same game with another base profile was not.
RJK_ParticipantEDIT. Reply removed, i made a mistake, throught i own that game.
A 3D Vision Fix not nessecarily means that parts of the game arent 2D. Ive seen some 3D train simulators where the the drivers cabin was 2D. Openrails for example. Hope you find a good profile.
