RJK_ParticipantThe Undying GLide profile is very experimental and you will have some kind of 3D effect but ist far from a proper 3D reconstruction.
For Unreal i recommend this https://www.vorpx.com/forums/topic/unreal-1/ . DGVoodoo2 or any other renderer is not needed anymore.
RJK_ParticipantHave anyone played The Darkness 2 lately ? With me VorpX logo is showing on Monitor Screen but HMD is turning black right on start. (Win 7)
RJK_ParticipantError 201. Haha, cool, another random error with the game, probably some textures too large or memory problems, either reboot PC or change resoution to 1920×1080 and reboot PC then.
@benzoylperoxide
Please use this link and mail
me your IP adress, its probably blocked for some reason.PS:The other profile will have the same random menu gliches and errors but at least it has proper 3D.
RJK_ParticipantLooks like the game doesnt clean up memory properly when not beeing shot down properly. One single crash and the PC must be rebooted in order to make it run with VorpX again. Though the menu glitch remains showing up randomly.
Concerning 3D, i dont want to hurt your feelings, but most of the game is 2D. The Unity profile you were using just cant properly handle that game. Perhaps you try out this profile to see the difference to how 3D can look like on this game. I just havent put that up the cloud yet because of the issues i had.
Anyway, nice game !
RJK_ParticipantUpdate
(VorpX 19.2.1)
– G3D working again when not using resolutions above 1920×1080
– Active Cursor with ALT+C
RJK_ParticipantWhen I start this game the Vorpx menu is blank (no text)
The same here. Game is randomly showing/not showing menu text, crashing and/or having texture issues, not showing im HMD especially (not at all) with resolutions above 1920×1080. Besides most objects are 2D. I suppose theres not much you can do, the game is just one that doesnt properly work together with vorpx. You may try a different base profile for a better 3D but the issues above make it rather unplayable.
RJK_ParticipantYou can always try out other game profiles which can be quite a hunt with inhouse engines though. If anything fails you may try out the “unknown” engine list to find a suitable profile for G3D. Always switch over to Z-Normal while trying a profile to see if at least this mode works properly with your game.

RJK_ParticipantDGVoodoo2 2.6 released
Download the latest version here.
Older profiles may not work anymore with this wrapper version.
If your game doesnt work with this version please either:
– use the version that is mentioned in the profile description
– change the settings mentioned in my previous post to “2”
– use version 2.55
RJK_ParticipantNot shure if i understand you right, in some older game profiles you may find the controller page in “OFF” state. Simply enabling this will display the contoller settings.
RJK_ParticipantHi Guys, i put a properly adjusted G3D profile into the cloud today, quite shure youre gonna like it.
Only one element couldn be fixed because it collides either with Shadows or HUD depth. See more here, so you need to decide whether you turn off shadow treatment or accept shosting effects during cutscenes. S3D should be perfect though.
RJK_ParticipantYou can always send an unused steam key for a game to
and i can give it a shot, No guarantee though, as usual.
RJK_ParticipantImportant: Do not use “HDR” in the games graphics settings !
RJK_ParticipantX-Blades (DGVoodoo2) WIP61 (G3D)
This profile is using the DX9 to 11 Wrapper of DGVoodoo2, sadly the Shader Signatures change with almost every update so this profile requires WIP 61 of the Wrapper. A little hex-editing must be done get around the vorpx “d3d9.dll” check.
– 2D Objects are 3D now
– DGVoodoo2 WIP 61 required.
– Hexedit xblades.exe and launcher.exe, change any “d3d9.dll” to “v3d9.dll”
– Rename the wrappers d3d9.dll to v3d9.dll
– High resolutions require matching game with monitor setting
– Profile availabe at the cloud
RJK_ParticipantApologize, i thought you was gonna play Tombraider 2013. The Registry key is for this game only.
For Osiris you may look under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Crystal Dynamics\”gamename”If you find an entry that suits to your gamename (Lara.. Osiris. ect,) check if you find a key named “RenderAPI” . IF so , change it to 9. If not, create a new key with that name set it to 9 like above.
If youre lucky this will force the engine to DX9.
