It’s been so long since I used vorpx, how do we go about updating? If it’s already installed is there a self updater or do I need to like track down my serial numbers again etc?

    Edit: NVM, I didn’t RTFM

    >If you already own vorpX, it should auto-update when you start vorpX Control next time. If it doesn’t for some reason, simply use the web installer that you received when you purchased vorpX. It will download the latest version available.

Yeah definitely never leave it near an open window or anywhere that the sun may touch it. Unfortunately it destroys your screen.

I just want to chime in to say that I had a problem similar to OP in that I had my controller config on steamvr messed up somehow when I tried vorpx last and havn’t run it since then. May have been unrelated but just wanted to add a voice as I know it shouldn’t be able to affect anything when vorpx isn’t running but for whatever reason I had a similar issue as OP which is why I havn’t used is for a while. Could be unrelated who knows.

I had to stop using VorpX because of something similar, completely messed up my steam controller and HOTAS setups and took me a day or two to fix. I was able to fix them without uninstalling vorpx though but havn’t launched it since, just had to go back into steam and mess with the controller settings.

The Farm Sim 2019 profile is completely broken for me. I don’t know if I am doing something wrong but its so warped that it’s just unplayable. Performance isn’t even the issue on my end it’s just the scale of everything and head tracking is weird it gives this odd parallax effect or something. Anyone else getting this?

Not every game has memory scanner DirectVR. Whenever a game profile uses the memory scanner, you see the according message. Direct VR can be implemented in several ways, the memory scanner is just one potential way.

I was asking about Enderal (Skyrim mod) and now I’m reading this.
When I start Enderal I can see the DirectVR option to scan but the game crashes at the very 3 seconds of loading the savegame. Could this be that the DirectVR support fails because it is a mod? Because to be honest I thought that If the normal Skyrim works in VR this mod should also.

Is there any other problem with Vorpx and this game?

I know that with SkyrimVR every mod seems to work (among hundreds tried), not sure about via vorpx though.

As a big porn video game enthusiast I agree DeoVR was the best previously, so excited to hear this. How do you use the vorpx video player though I never really messed with it, I tried using it with VLC but it wouldn’t hook. What method are you using?

    Hell yes!

Hoping someone can get Subnautica: Below Zero running well with it too that would be great.
