I’m using the cloud profile from Auryza (based on Plague tale, I think), and it works.
2080ti, Pimax 8kx running in 4k at medium settings.
I’m getting 40-60 fps in the small test I’ve done so far (though 98% gpu.
The Hud in game is too far out to the sides to see, and the lack of head movement to look around is throwing me, but those can be addressed, I imagine.
    And it is awesome.

Same. No idea what is wrong, but hoping Ralf can work it out.

Yeah with normal vorpx. We are referring to the stand alone Cp2077 Vorpx VR injector avaliable for free on the Vorpx website.

nah does not even work with vorpx for me since update. tried fresh install of the game as well.

I’m having the game lock up on the first screen (“cyberpunk 2077”) then drop to desktop after a mninute or three of just sitting there.
This is just using Vorpx itself, not the cyberpunk specific mod Ralf made.
Previously vorpx worked really well with the game but since the 1.6 update it wont run.

I tried a few times with the tomb raider profile without success.
Then a couple of months ago it worked (I think I was still using the tomb raider one).
It was pretty bad framerate compared to pancake, but it can be doen.

ok, as Ralf keeps ignoring my question, can anyone tell me how to uninstall this mod? so I go back to using Cyberpunk with normal vorpx, since without headtracking this mod is of no use to me. Thank you.

Windows arr/remove programs in control panel.

So I uninstalled the mod and went back to using the “pressstart” cloud profile with regular VorpX, and as I recalled I get 60fps @4k with ray tracing enabled, and it looks fantastic.
I guess the 3d reconstruction used (z-normal?) in regular VorpX is better suited to the power of my machine.
Weirdly I tried the other reconstruction methods (z-normal etc) with the mod, but could never get the same performance or image clarity with the mod. Though I may not have tried every possible combo of reconstruction and resolutions.

It does seem to “feel” better in the Mod version, but the lower framerate and resolution make me want to stick with the regular VorpX version for now.

A couple of other minor mod issues (when zooming in with a weapon, head movement is reversed on all axes, making aiming a pain, even though I could use the thumbstick to aim. And there is an enormous amount of bloom and blur when driving, like the resolution drops way down or something, and sometimes it is just all bright white outside the car but normal inside).

It is still a fantastic mod and a hell of an achievement, but I think I’ll stick with VorpX 4k 60fps and ray tracing for now… sorry.

Hi, I just wanted to say “thank you” for this.
I’ve been playing for a couple of hours and it seems to work well.
I’m not getting quite the framerate I got in “native” vorpx where I could run 4k quite comfortably. In the new mod I’m getting 40fps at 1440p, which is fine by me, but a fair bit less than previously (though this sort of thing varies a lot with steam vr and nvidia updates buggering up or making better things almost at random).
I may need to tweak my settings a bit till I find a happy compromise.
    (RTX 2080ti Ryzen 7 3700 pimax 8kx).
But the Mod version does seem more stable than playing through Vorpx, so far, and the extras like first person driving are a big bonus.

Anyway, thanks again, not just for the mod but for a great programme.
Happy holidays and a fab new year!
