I was just about to post that very video. That guy is a life saver. Make sure to check out if he’s made any videos on games you want to play. I highly recommend trying a game you know is gonna work to get a feel for the program. One of the reasons why Vorpx sometimes gets a bad rep, is because people want to get fairly unsupported games working without knowing how to set it up in the first place.

The FWE mod is amazing. Might be a bit too hard for VR on the default settings, but it is highly customizable. Having to scrap for food and supplies just to survive knowing that every bullet counts works so freaking well for this setting. Going throug the sewers of DC was one of my most tense video game moments ever. I highly recommend it if you want to refine the gameplay a bit or completely overhaul the game into a hardcore survival experience.
Gopher made a great series on some of the essential FO3 mods, though some mods might be a bit outdated, so do your research if you want irgon sights with FWE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QK_f4vHiutA&list=PL77ECC4B6194E1685

Sounds like some great additions to the current features. Even though it seems to be more suited towards newcomer, I’ll be looking forward to trying it out.

Turn cinema mode to ambient and increase image zoom.

Since I only mentioned my top three I’d like to add TES:Oblivion to the mix. It’s probably my number 2 and IMO is much better than Skyrim and Fallout because of perfect hand models. It runs great even with 4k, Unique Landscapes mod and TES4LodGen on ultimate, which makes it look even better than Skyrim. I do admit I have a GTX 1080 TI, but I honestly think the game is bottled-necked by either the cpu or the engine itself and not the GPU. This is probably my favorite Bethesda game of all time and I’m happy to say it also runs just as good as Fallout NV and much better than Skyrim and Fallout 4 with Vorpx. If you liked SKyrim and never played Oblivion than there has never been a better time than now!

Mods that enhance VR (all can be found on http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion):
    – FOV Modifier (A must! For a constant FOV)
    – Oblivion Stutter Remover (Must for smooth framerate)
    – Enhanced Camera
    – Dot Crosshair
    – Darnified UI
    – Loot Menu (tweak the mod’s ini to fit inside the vorpx screen)
    – Hud and Camera Toggler (set hotkey in mod’s ini file. Google “oblivion key code” to find out the codes for different keys)

Look through this list for Gameplay mods:

And this for graphic mods (be conservative):

Be warned Oblivion is a crash fest compared to Skyrim, so don’t through to many big overhauls into the mix all at once!

I could play it for a few minutes last time i tried, but always ended up crashing the game, which made it unplayable.

As far as I can read D:OS2 uses its own engine, so it highly unlikely that it will have working 3D without a custom profile.

No, it doesn’t really help, but thanks anyway :)
Darnified UI and a dot crosshair mod kinda fixes the problem, but it’s still annoying, since the depth of the UI doesn’t translate well.

I can’t get D:OS2 to work. I copied The Dragon Age inquisition profile and loaded the EoCApp.exe, but I crash on startup. When run through Steam it works, but I only got Z3D, not G3D.

Yeah, I should have mentioned I’m talking about G3D as I assumed most people want to play with that, whenever possible. You can definitely go much higher if you are playing in Z-buffered 3D, but I still think 8k is pushing it :)
As far as I know the only thing Pimax is god at is watching movies. As it’s head-tracking and drivers are pretty sloppy, but maybe something has changed since last I read up on it.

The Pimax is useless for Vorpx. 4k or 8k. I have a GTX 1080 ti and it has a hard time running games like Skyrim and Fallout 4 at native 1920×1440. I actually run at 1600×1200 and I’m not maxing out the settings at all, but I do have a few fairly intensive mods.

Isn’t the bundle cheaper than the season pass? I think you’d get a better answer from the Dark Souls community on reddit, than here on the Vorpx forums.

Okay, my problems was due to async render being off.
