Are you using a gamepad? Could be messing with the traqcking since headtracking is based on mouse movement? It’s worth a try.

I have this issue too, but I’m assuming it’s because newer headsets has a wider FOV at the bottom than the headsets these profiles are made with, so the screen doesn’t extend all the way down. It could even be that Ralf has the same headset, but that he has a different face shape and thus a smaller FOV, but it’s just speculation.

So do I. It’s on the top of my list to play this in 3D. Even without headtracking.

Just finished E1 and it was a stellar experience. Anything I need to know for setting up LE2? There is no official profile for this version of the game. Should I just use the ME2 profile or should I go with LE1 like someone explained for LE3?

Does Helixvisoin work with the newest line of GPU. It says it doesn’t support them yet.

I’ve been out of the VR game for a couple of years. Does this main you can actually decouple your gun aim from you headtracking with Vorpx?

It probably works because of Vorpx’s build in controller support. There is a mod that enables native controller support, so it can be played like it does on xbox. I’ll just skip playing it with Vorpx. Doesn’t sound like it is worth it.

Thanks for the clarification, though :)

Thanks. Yes, New Vegas is amazing with Vorpx. Haven’t played it since before DirectVR, but I just want to make sure it wasn’t there, when I suggest other people to play it. Oblivion plays just as well too.

You can use the FOV Slider mod to set a permanent fov change. I managed to fix all the hands issues, but I don’t know how well it plays with DirectVR though.

This all sounds very annoying, but I’m sure Ralf will be able to help you get it working. I been on these forums for years and it always seem to end with well.

Try turning your anti-virus off, when running Vorpx.

Get the game running with DirectVR without mods and then add mods a few at a time and isolate the mod that is making trouble. Another idea would be to make a DirectVR scan and toggle back between manual and DirectVR and tweak it little by little to make it look and feel like DirectVR without having to do the scan. This would make it possible to run the mods that makes your scan fail. I’m assuming you are using the mods from my old NV Vorpx guide. Whether you need these mods now that everything has been streamlined is another story!
I remember a cool side effect of positional tracking was that your head wasn’t attached to your guns, so you actually had to look down the sights to aim. Just out of curiosity does it still work like that after the DirectVR scan?

Try making direct scan without a controller plugged in and make sure to not touch the mouse while scanning. Some games often fail at scanning when you are near walls. Try to go to an open area.
