KeymasterDifficult to say anything useful without knowing specifics. Doesn’t sound like a message vorpX displays, but I’m not entirely sure. What does the message say exactly? It probably doesn’t just say ‘Select’, does it?
Ralf
KeymasterNot really sure about your keyboard issue, but if you want to go back to how things worked before the dedicated mod for GTA V was introduced, you can do so by renaming the vpxGTA5.dll file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Animation Labs\vorpX\plugins.
Keep in mind though that doing so will disable all functionality that gets added by the mod.
Ralf
KeymasterThere has to be something that gets in the way. vorpX can hook into the game just fine as shown in your log, but then before it can even fully initialize the game exits for without even a trace of an error in the log.
The only thing left to suggest is trying to diable the Steam/Origin overlay, in case you haven’t done that already. Shouldn’t be necessary, but can’t hurt. Aside from that there isn’t anything left to suggest.

KeymasterYou have to restart the game once for the field of view to be right (‘world is warped’). vorpX adjusts the field of view automatically to fit your headset on first launch, but a restart is required to apply this change.
Hint: If you want to learn more about FOV and how vorpX handles it for different games, check the ‘Essential Hints’ guide in the vorpX help. Useful infos that save a ton of unnecessary trial and error.
As far image quality is concerned, you probably want to use a higher resolution than the default one. In case of Outlast you can pick a quality preset on the DirectVr page of the vorpX menu for that.
Hint: To get the most out of this feature, it’s highly recommended to check the ‘Custom Resolutions’ sections in the vorpX help.

KeymasterI briefly checked it before the last update without encountering any issues, also no Windows 11 specific forum posts or support requests, so it’s fairly safe to assume it works fine.
However, unless you intend to buy a new PC that comes with Windows 11 preinstalled or are forced to switch, there isn’t really much of a reason to do so right now. Better wait a few months until MS has ironed out the biggest annoyances.
Ralf
KeymasterNothing unusual in the log file unfortunately.
Please check for potential conflicts with other programs on your PC. Hooking issues almost always are caused by conflicts with programs that also hook into games. The trouble shooting guide on top of this sub forum has more details on the matter. Judging from the running processes in the trouble shoot log you sent earlier you might not have done hat so far.
If you want to use vorpX with Virtual Desktop, you will also have to switch to ‘SteamVR’ in the vorpX config app. VD only works with SteamVR, not with the native Oculus runtime.
If you have both an internal GPU in your CPU and a dedicated graphics card, it might also be worth a shot to disable the integrated GPU in your BIOS.

KeymasterUpdated profile available in the cloud.
While I was at it I also added a scalable HUD and some instructions. Make sure to check them in the top/left corner of the game window. After following the instructions (just setting up FOV and resolution) everything should work right in FullVR mode.
Caveat 1: If you already saved settings for the profile before, make sure to reset the profile to default after importing. Otherwise your saved settings override some new optimized defaults.
Caveat 2: Please consider the profile semi official. Was never added to the supported games list since head tracking can cause a bit of image jitter for some reason. Still playable.
Ralf
KeymasterPlease check whether they really have been added. If you added all of them, vorpX should be able to pick one that matches the desired preset under normal circumstances. Caveat: If you happen to have a multi-monitor system, you have to add them for the monitor that the games run on.
If for some reason you can’t make it work, you can disable automatic resolutions on the DirectVR page of the vorpX menu and set one manually instead. For FullVR games one of the ‘narrow’ ones (or a 4:3) res would be what you want.
Ralf
KeymasterProbably something getting in the way by also hooking into the game.
If you haven’t done so already, please first try to install a hook helper from the ‘Attaching To…’ dialog. Should appear after a minute or so if vorpX can’t hook into a game. That can often resolve hooking problems without getting to the bottom of the matter.
If that doesn’t help, please check for potential conflicts with other programs on your PC. Hooking issues almost always are caused by conflicts with programs that also hook into games. The trouble shooting guide on top of this sub forum has more details on the matter.

KeymasterDid you you read the whole hint that vorpX displays regarding the unsupported resolutions in the menu?
It doesn’t just say ‘unsupportrd’, it also recommends to check the ‘Custom Rsolutions’ section in the vorpX help, which has a step-by-step guide how to add resolutions to your PC it can handle normally.
Ralf
KeymasterThat should only be the case if you play with inverted mouse normally. You can make vorpX account for inverted mouse movement in the vorpX menu on the ‘Input’ page.
Ralf
KeymasterTry to rename the game’s .exe to something else than porsche.exe and create a profile for the renamed .exe. There are a few games that may refuse to launch when renaming their .exe, but for most it will work just fine.

KeymastervorpX doesn’t just render the game, It also runs a second render thread in parallel that does its own rendering (most obvious in cinema mode, but in the other modes vorpX has to process the game image and send it to the headset as well, of course). That’s nothing you can change with a custom profile. Typically that costs about 10% of the original performance even without any 3D. Depending on the game and some other factors it might even be a bit more.
There also comes another topic with this: since for normal developers it is not really possible to prioritize GPU rendering, doing two things in parallel on the GPU is fairly finnicky. If you encounter judder issues, there probably is too much going on to run both the game’s and vorpX’s rendering stable in parallel. There are several ways to deal with that:
1. Reduce a game’s resolution.
2. Dial down a game’s graphics options.
3. Use vorpX’s FluidSync option (caps the game frame rate)
4. Switch the ‘Headset Sync’ option to ‘Safe’ (leaves more GPU headroom)Ralf
KeymasterSomething tells me it won’t take long until someone asks why there is no ‘favor latency AND fps’ preset. ;) But I honestly think that for most this will make the sync options more useful. The way they are currently presented in the menu makes them largely useless trial and error options for a normal user.

KeymasterThe game’s gamepad mapping is too complex to be replicated with vorpX’s gamepad to mouse/kb mapper. I spent half a day trying, trust me. Hence the according message that is shown when you launch vorpX.
Since the game doesn’t allow gamepad and mouse input simultaneously and the gamepad mapper unfortunately is of no use either in this case, the only way to play it with head tracking is using a mouse. The only viable way for playing with a gamepad is playing in cinema/immersive screen mode without head tracking, which would let you use the gamepad natively.
