So playing with Xbox controller on couch or easy chair, it is a real pain to recenter on the keyboard. The motherVR mod for Alien Isolation fixes this problem by re-centering when you push RB & LB at the same time.

Could this be possible VorpX maybe?
And maybe something alike for Direct VR scan?

It would make things a lot more comfortable! :)

It’s unplayable on a screen, looks amazing in 3D. I really hope one day its playable in full immersive VR, yes alot of the setting would have to be lowered. GTAV has an amazing VR mod as does Alien Isolation, the developer of those mods had to edit the settings and even remove some of the effects seen on a flat screen but they both look amazing. Officially I know Cyber Punk will never get a supported VR mode so here’s hoping Vorpx and other modders keep working on it.

One of my goto games is the original Crysis. 2 and 3 work well also, but I love traversing the jungle in the original and the vehicles work great too. Dead Island played good too. Right now I’m experimenting with Dying Light. Too bad nobody created an Alien Isolation type VR mod to enhance the experimental VR that’s already in the game.

Hi Ralf, this is a brand new vorpx and game installation. Also, I tried all the settings regarding head tracking, none of them works…
Actually this problem happened to me years ago on my desktop in the Alient Isolation game and other games. Now I moved my license to my laptop, ran Mass Effect Andromeda and the tale of plague, they all have the same issue.

Can you point me to some useful youtube videos about vorpx settings? I searched a lot and didn’t find anything useful.

Hi i bought a VorpX license last week, i decided to get into it today, i tried Alien Isolation and Resident Evil 7, both seem pretty good in VR (but blurry compared to native vr games) but the problem i’m having is my oculus touch controllers keep alerting me to pick them up when in game, and my xbox controller keeps flicking back and forth to the keyboard.

Basically i just want to control the game with my controller, i found the games unplayable so far because of the constant switching, i looked in the VorpX in-game keybindings and it just shows keyboard bindings so no option to disable anything.

Also is there a way to make Resident Evil 7 run a bit better and less blurry? i’m running it on a 2080ti, ryzen 3800x and 16gb of ddr 4 3200, and when i’m outside it drops to 40 fps, inside it bounces around 60-70 and i’d like to have consistent frames

it attachs to steam vr

i test 2 game
1)agony it works all except audio but if i use alt+tab and i go to game the audio works…return to vorpx steam vr audio disappear (the audio option of built in visor in cofig is uncheked) no keyboard work – work xbox one controller

by the same config
2)run Alien isolation works all (also audio) except controller/keyboard so i
can’t start anything

can anyone help me to say if i do something wrong?

To OP and others here, vorpx is great, but there is really no reason to use vorpx with this anymore when the lukeross00 r.e.a.l VR mod for GTA V is out. It would be like using vorpx on Alien Isolation still when there’s a great mod out there.

That GTA mod feels almost like native quality. Especially on the higher refresh rates with the index so the alternate frame rendering is not that noticeable. In addition all cut scenes work perfecty in VR now. Here’s the link: https://github.com/LukeRoss00/gta5-real-mod

I can’t seem to be able to run any games well despite setting them to low graphics and disabling all effects and additional options, my framerate just won’t go above 40, I tried re7, the outer worlds, alien isolation and blair witch and they all run poorly, it certainly isn’t a problem with my rig so I guess I’m looking for tips on how to effectively troubleshoot this thing since I’m new to VR and Vorpx. My PC has an RTX 2080 Super, Ryzen 3900x, 32 GB of 3200 RAM and the games are installed in a WD Black nvme ssd, my headset is an Oculus Quest.

Yeah sorry Ralf I’d seen it in the start menu but never actually tried it, I was waiting for the guy who did the Alien Isolation to bring out some mod as I had seen he was playing about with it a while back. I’ll try downloading the other version without EAC and see if I can get anywhere with it.
