    if that‘s the case, then it probably should work normally. Not sure why it does not for you.

    Either way, you can easily address your „problem“ by using the mouse/gamepad emulation instead, which except for analog movement should work just as well as the gamepad emulation (after re-mapping a handful of keys).

    Mappings are always saved per game. Saving them globally wouldn’t really work well since not all games use the same keys.

    The default mapping covers a common PC game scheme (WASD to move, E for use, R for reload, SPACE to jump, SHIFT to walk etc.), so in most cases customizing the mapping for a specific game should be fairly simple.

    you can rebind keys as you know, with grip buttons on the controlers you can have 2 set of commands per wand, enough to have a decent gameplay, you cant bind everything but you can bind just enough commands to play without using keyboard/mouse/gamepad.

    I’ve never used Vive wands as controllers, how do you set all the keys to work, there’re not that many buttons on the wand.

    Yes, as my laptop does not have iGPU. Just GTX1070 (MSI GT72VR 7RE)

    I have tried using VORPX without the shortcut, running vorpX from folder. We made a progress here. Now, WMR portal and steam VR opens automatically when I launch RE7. However, still not working, as after WMR and Steam opens, RE7 closes. If I try to launch it again when WMR and Steam are open, it will close too, or it will say not able to hook RE7.

    I also have tried RE2, Dragon ball Z kakarot, destiny 2. They close same as RE7. World war Z opens just Steam and VorpX sucessfully is attached to it, however, it does not open WMR so headset is off and game is just displayed on desktop. If I open WMR after that, does nothing. I have no log file for these games.

    A question my system SSD is bad if I clone the SSD to the same make and model will I lost my registration info the e-mail sent to me stated that no news keys will be issued till 5/16/20 ?

    How is everyone playing this, I mean with a GamePad or with Touch/Vive/Etc controllers with remapping. I started out with Oculus Touch controllers and started to do some remapping of the controls, but don’t know the most important buttons to remap. I thought Remapping keys got stored in the profile, so I guess most are using a gamepad as the controller remapping doesn’t really work with this game(s), yet.

    Big update here!

    Ok I got EQ1 to hook! Using the make shortcut method.

    Now the next problem is that moving the headset around does not move the character or its head. Would opentrack be able to emulate keys or mouse+key combinations?

    That did it, you’re a master!

    There are still a couple big issues though, the night vision mode is broken (cameras diverge or something), same with the sniper rifle zoom mode.     Running Steep in Immersive Screen Mode, Oculus Rift, Controller Mode set to GamePad

    The XBox Controller does not act normally and reaction to small stick motions is so slow that Steep is essentially unplayable.

    Tried Controller Mode KB/Mouse and used KB keys. Possibly the game responds better in this mode but it does not work well for me.

    Hi,

    I use Vorpx now some days and while the most time keymapping fits standard in games I encounter games where I have to swap keys.

    my setup is Rift-S with touch controllers.
    When I switch to the ingame config menu and like to adjust the mapping of the touch controller keys while using keyboard emulation I found no way of changing the keys.

    I can select a button to remap and then …? How am I able to slect the key that is emulated i.e. Return key or F key or even just the J of the keyboard. All I can do is to press a button on the touch controller and map his keys to the new button.

    I searched around and could’t find any answer. If solution is already posted anywhere just point me to it.

    Thank you Ralf i think i get max payne 2 to work its crash when ever i press esc to go back in the game menu, but its work. Its hard to use the vorpx menu i shoot when i press with mouse in vorpx menu or move when i navigate with keyboard keys maybe pause key work. dgVoodoo2 is really interesting profile maybe can i play classic carmageddon 3dfx next is it possible ? I was playing with dgVoodoo2 carmageddon 1, 2 3dfx emulation back in the day.

    I reset my computer, and reinstalled everything. When I use vorpx the in game menu doesn’t appear. I have tried the hot keys and they work. Any ideas?

    For my set up I’m on a AMD 470, psvr headset while using tribes. Everything worked before I reinstalled everything.

    You are like… a mentor to me! The wind beneath my wings! Thank you for taking a look at it, and yes, OpenGL was the preferred interface for IL-2… let me try DirectX and see if that fixes anything (also available in IL-2), although OpenGL seems to work better.

    Just a quick question, is there a quicker way to set the VR/look keys faster through an “ini” file instead of using the in-game interface or are those associated with game profiles?
