Good evening –
Whatever help I could get would be greatly appreciated. I am running a heavily modded Fallout 4: FROST build with the latest and greatest version of VORPX. There are several issues.
1. VORPX hooks into Fallout 4 just fine
2. The Edge Peek does not work – I have assigned it to multiple keys, mouse buttons – no dice.
3. The VORPX In game menu does not work – I have assigned it to multiple keys, mouse buttons – no dice.
4. The right eye on my Oculus 3 does not work. I have run it with Oculus air link as well as set it for a generic headset, a STEAM configuration with Virtual Desktop – no dice.
5. The left eye works fine
6. Even with the FOV set in the INI file to 100, 110, 112, 120, 125 – nothing changes. It is zoomed in so far that it is unplayable
7. In troubleshooting I have:
a. Removed the Fallout4 Upscaler
b. Removed Shadow Boost
C. Turned of all NVIDIA upscaling, sharpening, etc.
d. Set the resolution options to all manner of different things – it makes no difference.
Any ideas you may have would be great!
THanks
But is it possible to turn it on and use gamepad keys? Mine refuses to work with both settings.
I agree with the OP. I’m just playing games in 3D on my OneXFly handheld device with Viture XDR glasses. It’s awesome to play games in literal 3D wherever I’m at, even if I’m not using it for VR.
The problem is, there’s no external keyboard with me on the go. To disable the “Generic 3D displays aren’t the intended use” warning, I have to try to enable the onscreen keyboard, hit all 3 keys, and somehow manage not to minimize the game or knock the magnetic cable off the glasses, thus having me start the process all over again.
Like the OP said, he knows you mean well, Ralf, but there are circumstances where it can be a bit of a hinderance and not let us use your wonderful tool (even if it’s not in the way it was intended to be used). Just please, give us a toggle to disable all alerts and notices if we want… please?
Hi Ralf,
I’m trying get Cyberpunk running, but this pop-up window is asking to update components or continue. I **cannot move mouse cursor** with both mouse and controllers, so I cannot click this menu item. Also, I can move selection with cursor keys, but cannot confirm with enter or space.
How can I select required menu item?
– vorpX 24.1.0
– Cyberpunk 2.1
– Oculus Quest 2
The game and vorpX were completely re-installed from scratch.

Is there any way to automate the request code / response email for key generation? I’ve been waiting for about 12 hours for a new key to get going in Starfield or at least start trying to get it working on Proton for Linux. Given I may be making several installation rounds on various prefixes, I may have to be requesting a half dozen request code responses for keys to get vorpX working in each Proton instance. I get it’s Christmas – but if this was automated I wouldn’t have to rely on a human to respond with a license key.
I bought the ultimate edition on steam and installed it without mods. Profile hooks and it is very well playable.
Basically all works, but I want to use the controller instead of mouse and keyboard. XBOX controller already works, but has only partially the keys mapped. In VorPx menu I changed to controller and there were also options for the controller and I changed it the way it uses just the controller ( I dont remember how those options were named).
This also works, but head tracking then stopps. I can play on immersive screen and this is already playable, but I really want Full VR and head tracking. Head tracking before worked, only after I changed the controller configuration in the VorPX menu it was gone. How can I get this back?
Hi,
I’m trying get Cyberpunk running on latest beta, but this pop-up window is asking to update components (recommended) or continue. I cannot move mouse cursor with both mouse and controllers, so I cannot click this menu item. Also, I can move selection with cursor keys, but cannot confirm with enter or space.

– Gesture editor for rifle aim is not working as expected tried to assign all possible axis — not working, trigger button is possible to assign only for right click, not possible to assign to left trigger gamepad.
– left handed mode swapping controllers including start button (and this button is preserved for re-centering and activating dash). If you go to update button mapping— there no option to swap that buttons only, and remap to left controller — it gone.(not only beta problem)
– gamepad emulation is mapping to keyboard buttons, which not always matches game situation, like for Starfield, button up/down/left/right maps to 1/2/3/4 and when you are controlling ship —- it has combination of alt + arrows, so it is safer to have virtual gamepad and map binding through that, virtual controller. Also it would help with on screen hints, because they all shows keyboard keys, but overlay for touch shows xbox buttons.
and basically why catwalk c and virtuix omni can translate movement into arrow keys, but headset/vorpx cannot?
do treadmills like catwalk c or virtuix omni solving it by merely translating movements into arrow keys? If they can to that, the tredmilless. Why not vorpx, am i missing something whats the difference?
Not sure if I understand te problem. Normally using the controller buttons shiuld work just as using keys, i.e. a key is registered as down as long as you press the button.
Also also not sure why you want to use the keyboard emulation in the first place. The mod works perfectly fine with the default gamepad emulation.
I had wanted to be able to simulate a long press of the V-key using the VorpX Hotkey Settings Menu. If I set one of the hot keys as ‘V’, when I aim at or choose this by looking at it, the simulated press if a short-press of ‘V’.
I’m very much a PC gamer and used to playing with my own custom key bindings. The gamepad emulation is very functional but I can’t customise it to my preferences. It used to be that I could use the motion controller to change from keyboard emulation to gamepad emulation when driving. Unfortunately, I cant seem to do that anymore and need to use a mouse to control the on-screen VorpX menu (a re-install of VorpX did not fix the issue for me)

Hi there!
I just purchased a Quest 3 headset 1 week ago and yesterday I downloaded Vorpx.
I was able to get Arma 3 running and play online with my friend but I had significant problems with the HUD and mouse controls. I think the vorpx hotkeys and menus are interfering.
Hitting the middle mouse button should activate Aim Down Sights but instead it switches between VR display modes. Could not figure out how to turn this off.
I was unable to access the action menu while in game.
Also while in the menus the displayed mouse cursor was unable to reach certain buttons on the screen, running out of room to scroll, as the cursor position was out of alignment with the movement.
I was playing around with getting a custom resolution set up to match the native resolution of the Quest 3 so that might have messed things up.
