Make sure you are using Exclusive Fullscreen.

Just tested my Mankind Divided, working great still. Without Exclusive Fullscreen I get no z-buffer. I turn it back to exclusive, and bingo, 3D’s back.

This happens with hitman and a few other games too. If that doesn’t do it, try changing the AA settings and resolution.

FC5 base game still working fine also. Never tried the dlc though.

edit: I tried switching between fullscreen and borderless in FC5, and it did go flat at one point. But changing resolution seemed to fix it. Just try fiddling with it some. And make sure you have Farcry5.exe assigned to the profile, that it’s not just hooking with the default 2D one.

Oh, I forgot to mention that didn’t I, sorry about that.

Most games don’t seem to care, but some are picky. So testing fullscreen vs windowed, AA on vs off, and changing resolutions, are general things to try. A small taste of the endless testing of profiles to find ones that work :) .

Glad it’s working again. Hitman profile needs to be attached to the Hitman.exe (not Launcher.exe), run in dx11 mode, and exclusive fullscreen.

So far I’ve only played the demo version, so let us know if full retail gives you further problems. Thanks.

Finally found one that gives us nice G3D :) . Check the cloud man, and read the Capture Mode FOV instructions here.

In case you are still having cloud trouble, I’ve uploaded the profiles to mediafire:

    Hitman 2016 – G3D
    Hitman 2016 – Z3D

Just drag and drop them into your local profiles list, and add the exe to the one you want active.

Glad to hear, I thought bf1 looked great.

I plan to grab V on release of the frostbite geometry update, could be sweet with proper shadows.

If you open the image page of DEL menu while in full vr mode you’ll find an image zoom slider to adjust zoom to your liking. Alternately, Shift+mousewheel should also change zoom level. I often zoom out as far as i can until I see the side boarders of the screen. Doing this adds those letterbox bars on top and bottom, but helps to give you a sharper image.

On that same image page is a sharpening slider that I find really helps with the blurriness. That and upping your game resolution as much as your PC can handle.

If you like not having the screen locked to your face, try the cinema mode, which can also be zoomed in and out a fair ways, and you can change the background to black if you want.

    anyone has tried hitman (2016)?

Funny you should ask, that is what I’ve been up to tonight.

Had some luck for both G3D and Z3D using two separate profiles. I’ll post them tomorrow after a bit more testing.

    Understandable, thanks for checking.

There are lots of reports of flicker problems on steam involving fullscreen/borderless and changeable refresh rates. Maybe not the solution we are looking for.

If you ever decide to unlock the profile, I’d be happy to do testing with unofficial ones.

Sure, I think I sent to the right place.

A lot of neat looking games in here. If not from steam, where do you get them?

    Doing great work man. Thanks.

If any recent updates to vorpX dx11 can now grant any 3D to the campaign, let us know 👍

In case someone comes looking, there is now an unofficial profile on the cloud you can try, mentioned here.

G3D works with good clarity, and mouse/keyboard controls work like standard. A preferable alternative to the native mode in my opinion.

In case you’re still looking, I’ve put a profile for Subnautica on the vorpX cloud. I posted instructions here.

After disabling the flashlight shadows, things all look pretty good. It runs off the standard version of the game, so normal mouse/keyboard controls now apply.

Try it out if you like. Let me know if it works how you wanted.

Been messing more with the shader authoring tonight. Figured out how to hide miss-match textures and shadows, but don’t yet understand what the Transform and other functions do. Is there a brief explanation of their purpose and potential?

Like can miss-match shadows be corrected with this tool?
Or HUD reticles made 2D, or with corrected separation?
What do you typically use the tool for most?

How are dynamic shadows generally corrected for stereoscopic? I get the impression it can be tricky and difficult. Is it even possible for engines like CryEngine and Unity?

A lot of question marks, sorry :)

Far Cry 5 will likely never get official support, unless one day EasyAntiCheat adds vorpX to the whitelist. As it is now, vorpX is being blocked by the game, and can only work by using questionable cheat trainer software. Quite unfortunate.

On the other hand, Battlefield V is very likely to get support (including G3D thanks the coming frostbite update), providing that EA doesn’t sneak in some aggressive anticheat this time around. Doubtful they will. At least the betas didn’t have any, and I was able to play fine with vorpX.

Demosthenes posted about it here. He’s got a G3D profile up.

It works ok minus shadows miss-match, but you can turn them off. There’s a fair amount of headroom for forced fov enhancement if you need it.

I’d look for it on sale. I grabbed it for $12 during summer. Got stuck on a puzzle haha, should probably go back.
