I posted (or emailed?) a similar question when i bought VorpX, but this time at least Ralf answered.

Lately i’m not so sure about the usability of VorpX if Ralf exits the development. VorpX depends on regular updates to stay compatible even with some older games. So, even if VorpX turns into abandonware and can be used indefinitely by everyone who bought it in the past, the usefulness would probably diminish greatly after a while.

But i’m just a passionate stereo3D gamer, so, guys, feel free to correct me if my assessments are wrong.

That’s bad. I hope Ralf manages to get this working. I could never play the trilogy if i know that one of the three games doesn’t work. Rather wait a couple of years.

Did the 3rd remaster game work previously, or has VorpX never received an official profile for it?

I think he meant 360° VR. Maybe Z3D doesn’t work as well in FullVR mode like it does in Cinematic Mode. I tried CP2077 in VorpX, didn’t like the experience (especially the head movement was very strange), and did my first playthrough on my 21:9 monitor.

Did you fix it? Tron 2.0 is still on my to-play-list. Would be crushing if it doesn’t work anymore.

Is it normal, that after the update the Config Window still shows “version 21.2.1”? I even uninstalled and installed fresh with the web installer, still the same thing.

I’ve not played that many games with VorpX, but my top ones would be:
– The Witcher 3 (plus TW1 and TW2 as well, but keep in mind that i’m a Witcher fan :)
– Jedi: Fallen Order (my GOTY 2020, i enjoyed it more than HL:Alyx, believe it or not)
