steph12ParticipantI did find a profile for Doom 2016 that appears to work pretty well, I didnt spend a ton of time with it cause i kinda went on a ‘what games can i get running in vorpx’ rampage and managed to get doom 2016 up and running.. i thought it looked really good, but you can be the judge if you like how it runs or not. I dont remember whose profile i got it from unfortunately, was just running through too many games to give proper credit, but, I will go ahead and upload the one I have into the Vorpx Config and you can try the profile i have.
I uploaded the profile as Doom 2016 – the author will be TheBaltar, go ahead and see if that works for your system.
good luck!
thanks a lot man !! i will try it tomorrow :D
steph12Participanti wasnt even hoping you could be already working on a plague tale working profile so soon :D
that’s great and i hope you’ll be able to fix the issues soon.
i’ll wait to play that game till you managed to do so, i think Z3D for this game would be good enough since it’s a third person game.
others profiles you mention are also most welcome :)
steph12Participantit’s a home made engine :/ from asobo studio (nothing to do with ue4 or any others engines)…
i would also love a working Z3D profile for this amazing game !
steph12ParticipantHey Ralf, this is an old post but i did – i dont know how, but i did manage to get Old Republic running on a Vorpx driver for Elder Scrolls Online. I looked around and apparently they both run on the ‘hero engine’?
Anyways – i got it to work, new install of old republic and imported that Elder Scrolls Online Vorpx profile and it worked – but now i cant get it to hook again.. Not sure why to be honest… but if it was something you ever wanted to look into making a working profile for, you may want to try starting with that Elder Scrolls Online profile. Again, no clue why it worked once and wont hook again to Vorpx, but i definitely had the game up and running that one time with Vorpx
you’re 100% sure you had the game running in G3D ?
steph12ParticipantYou could start the desktop viewer, disable the vorpX watcher, and run the game windowed (borderless).
I will look into *very* *basic* *2D only* Vulkan hooking sometime this year, but don’t get your hopes up for Vulkan with 3D anytime soon.
some vulkan support is otw then ? even if it’s a long term coming feature ? that is amazing news if so.
steph12Participanti’ll really have to try playing stalker soc someday with vorpx then :D
steph12Participantthanks for your feedback :)
i didnt try stalker yet and i also played this game on flat screen years ago and it’s such an amazing experience, did you play the whole game from start to finish in VR with vorpx ?
steph12Participantfallout 4 VR for me is better.
but if you have fallout 4 already AND a powerful computer then using vorpx with fallout 4 (and mods) can be great.my rule is, if i can get a game running natively in VR i will always buy it.
the magic of vorpx is playing in VR games who will probably never have a vr patch from developpers, and vorpx for this is just pure awesomeness.
steph12Participantthank you Ralf for making this post about this upcoming update :)
you keep making vorpx better and better, as a user & customer i could not be happier !
cheers :)

steph12Participantthat’s really a low move from ngreedia.
steph12ParticipantLooks like a good candidate for an official profile. I will look into it.
great :)
steph12Participantthanks for sharing this, could be indeed helpful for some other people :)
steph12Participantamazing :)
thank you for letting us know, this game is already great on 2D screen but in VR mmmmm it’s going to be epic :D
steph12Participantthis is too technical for me, but i salute your effort to allow this kind of stuff, should be useful for people knowing what you are talking about, developpers themselves, and/or experimented modders ^^
it seems you are allowing more and more freedom for vorpx users, that’s really great, that can only help it to grow even stronger and wider :)
steph12Participantwow Ralf, that’s a great idea, thank you for working on this feature :)
