RalfKeymasterIf you did not receive your key in the meantime, please let me know. It was sent about 80 minutes after you requested it. Please double check your spam folder.
Your old key should have worked fine normally BTW, the request code you sent was the same as before.
RalfKeymasterAfter vorpX hooked into VLC, open the vorpX ingame menu with [DEL] and go to the image page of the ingame menu. The first option “Content Type” let’s you switch between mono/side by side/over under.
RalfKeymasterYou can use your web installer to install the latest version if the update fails for some reason.
If you didn’t keep a backup of the web installer, please send a mail to support |at| vorpx com.
RalfKeymasterYou can’t solve this issue yourself unfortunately. Please follow the advice given in the message and send a mail to support to get an older version that works with the DK1.
RalfKeymasterYes, the developers do read the forum and they will look into the issue. There is nothing more I can say at this point.
RalfKeymasterSince it can’t be stressed enough: on a normal (good) gaming PC (i5 + GTX970) this runs below 30fps outside on medium settings, which is not a reasonable framerate for VR, even with async timewarp.
As far as I’m concerned Z3D will still be the better option in this case due to the almost twice as high framerate.
RalfKeymasterYou can always use your web installer to install the latest version.
If you forgot to make a backup of the web installer, please send a mail to support |at| vorpx com.
RalfKeymaster@ Dal: Yes. There was an issue with the heuristics used to find the values that have to be be changed for Geometry 3D, which only partially work in Fallout 4. A (rather unsophisticated, but largely working) workaround is in place now, so you can expect Geometry 3D for Fallout 4 very soon.
Please be aware that you will need an extremely fast PC for this to work at a reasonable framerate (fastest Core i7 + GTX 980Ti).
RalfKeymasterTo display the undistorted game simply activate the “Direct Mode Show Original” option on the display page of the ingame menu.
To display the distorted view, you have to run the game windowed. Doing this unlocks another option on the display page of the ingame menu named “Direct Mode Show Mirror Window”.
Please note that neither of these options should be activated if they are not needed since they can have a negative impact on performance.
RalfKeymasterTry Dynamic Super Resolution (nVidia), respectively Virtual Super Resolution (AMD). Haven’t checked that with vorpX 0.9 yet, but is worth a try.

RalfKeymasterWhat exactly is happening is impossible to detect. There are a few theoretical options to take a guess, but none works reliable enough across games to make these guesses a sensible option. For sake of having things working as similar as possible across games the various ideas in this regard were dismissed long ago.
RalfKeymasterI thought I fixed that at some point in the past. Can’t promise anything, but I’ll look at it again.
A possible instant fix you can try yourself is running the games at higher resolutions to get a supersampling. Most Source games should run fast enough to make this a viable option.
RalfKeymasterPlease request a new download link here.
RalfKeymasterWith a DK1 you should have seen a message regarding this version of vorpX not working anymore with a DK1.
I’ll send you a mail with a link for a version that works with your DK1. Please read that mail carefully.
RalfKeymasterYou need to send us the request with your usual e-mail program (Outlook, Thunderbird, or whatever you use). Copy and paste the request code from the license dialog into an e-mail and send that to the address mentioned in the license dialog.
You will then receive a mail back that contains the key.
