Ok .. Other question.. is SLI support on your List? .. i think with VR is the maximum Performance needed and Max performance is similar with SLI support..
Why SLI don´t work with arma3 in Vorpx VR in my case .. is there a way to “force” SLI when running VorpxArma??
Just Updated to 0.9.0 and updated everything else to lastest drivers (Nvidia/Runtime Oculus 0.8.0)
SLI enabled / disabled makes no differece
if i try to start Arma3 with Vorpx it directly closes the Game. The Game is Preloading some Data but if it trys to Output to the Rift A3 Crash (just close) without receiving any error Message! Anyone can help? Anyone A3 got running with 0.9.0 Vorpx?
I found that my VorpX wasn’t working. No matter what I tried to launch(except for vorpx config) it just gave me the message: The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000018). Click OK to close the application. – I decided just to re-download but i cant find the web installer and there are no links for it. I would really like for this to work, ive been waiting to do Arma 3 on the rift for so long.
Hi guys! Arma 3 works very nice here in my dk2. My only problem is the map. I can’t open the map because my game crash after that. I remember that with my dk1 I had the same problem… of course that I tested without the vorpx and the map works fine! Someone with the same problem??
Sounds like maybe you accidentally may have activated the Virtual Cinema mode? If that is not your issue, please make sure to set the FOV to 120° (can be done with the vorpX Game Optimizer normally. If that fails for some reason, google for “Arma 3 FOV”, which will yield several results linking to FOV calculators and tutorials.
Please also note that Arma III is currently Z-Buffer 3D only, which means the Stereo 3D effect looks flatter on nearby objects. The advantage is that it’s twice as fast than G3D.

i’m struggling with getting arma 3 to run on oculus, and i therefore have a question.
i have only successed getting arma 3 to run in 2d on the oculus rift – like a virtuel desktop. is that was is possible or should i expect 360 degrees of vr?
Normally the game should hook just like others. If it doesn’t in your case, please try/check the things below.
Try to disable your virus scanner to make sure it does not interfere
Check for other possibly interfering programs. The trouble shooting guide in the vorpX help has a few hints in this regard.
Try to create a vorpX desktop shortcut to the Arma3 main .exe (right click the vorpX tray icon, choose “Create Desktop Shortcut”). This does not work with all games (especially Steam/Origin/Uplay games), but if it does, it hooks more reliable than the auto detection.
Try running vorpX as administrator. Generally this is not recommended, but may help in some cases (for example it’s necessary if the game also is started with admin rights).
BTW: For serious Arma 3 playing, I can highly recommend the below in depth setup tutorial. Doesn’t solve your issue, but helps to create the best possible experience once you got it basically running. Quite a bit of work, but pays off.
Hey, Every time I try to launch Arma 3 the game launches in single screen 2D as it would if vorpx were not enabled. Vorpx is supposed to support this game what can be done to get it to work? Other games seem to work so it must be configured at least partly correctly.
PLease could you advise on how to get this to work? or if any other users have this problem I would be very grateful if you had a solution.
I have done a windows 7 Professional reinstall wiping my hard drives. I have installed FSX, ARMA2 and ARMA3 with McAfee Total Protection.
VorpX is loading with no problem.
