rien ce s’affiche dans le casque
nothing is displayed in the headset

    to summarize
    I installed cyberpunk via gog
I installed the vr mod by accepting everything and putting in the openxr config
    I have a g2 reverb and a quest 2 with a 3080

    I run WMR -> steam vr -> cyberpunk2077.exe

Is it possible that it comes from openxr opened by default with oculus instead of wmr?

Weird. Is there a file named version.dll in [CP2077]\bin\x64? That’s the main DLL from the Cyber Engine Tweaks modding frame work that does the inital hook. This version.dll should have a modfication date 2022/02/16 if it belongs to latest CET version.

Just to be sure please also check whether there maybe is a d3d12.dll, d3d11.dll or dxgi.dll in the same folder. If so remove them. Those would be interfering leftovers e.g. from Reshade.

Also please check whether your Cyberpunk version is actually 1.5. You can see that in the main menu.

I have all the files, I don’t use any mods and I just reinstalled the whole pc, and no antivirus except Windows.
I run the game with the Cyberpunk2077.exe executable and I don’t open gog

Hello, I was eagerly waiting to be able to do cyberpunk 2077 in vr and so I reserved myself for that.
However, no matter how hard I try, I can’t get anywhere.
I have a gog version, I could see on the forum that others managed to make it work, but for my part nothing at all.
Thank you very much for your help and your time.

    Hi.

I’m new to VorpX so sorry for a noob question. What is the recommended way to play Cyberpunk 2077? With a VorpX on or standalone mod? So far I’ve quickly tried VorpX and found the FOV completely messed when driving a car. Standalone is kind of playable but occasionally crashes or gets quite uncomfortable at times when there is a lot going on and FPS drops below 72.

I’m playing on Quest 2 over link in 72Hz mode on Windows 11 machine with RTX 3080 and Intel 12700KF CPU . I’m using “Nicer” profile setting and Z-Normal. Mostly playing in the edge peak mode occasionally switching to full VR.

Deleting all the cache data in the Cyberpunk 2077 LocalAppData seemed to work. I can boot up Cyberpunk 2077 multiple times, and change the Vorpx data. Ill do more troubleshooting to see if there is something I missed but I hope this will provide someone else with a solution, because this is truly a wonderful application.

    Hello,
I am using an oculus quest 2, running the base game on GOG. When I start up the app after the mod installation, it typically works fine, but after closing and starting the game again, it loads maybe 2 seconds of the production slates then freezes and then goes no further, essentially flatlining the game. I can work around this by uninstalling the mod, opening cyberpunk, closing, then installing the mod again. Is there anyone else out there that has experienced a similar issue? is there another work around? I figure IF there isn’t a way I would take the User settings script and fill in optimal parameters as I go, overwriting the default settings after every installation.

    @ mr_spongeworthy

Create a text file called DrawDistanceBoost.ini (any name works) under “Cyberpunk 2077\engine\config\platform\pc”
    Then add the following:

    [Streaming]
    DistanceBoost = 42.000000

The default value for the vanilla game is 0
Can be decreased or increased as desired, high values such as 50~ and above start to create flickering (this may be fixable if other settings get tweaked

    Hello,
Firstly thank you so much for this greatest product! However I have 2 troubles now.

    1. In-game menu keys don’t work
I succeeded to launch VR mode on Cyberpunk 2077 but DEL, Middleclick or any other vorpx keys don’t work. Is there any configuration I’ve missed?

    2. How to switch VR mode / monitor mode
vorpX always hook my Cyberpunk even while all processes of vorpx are terminated… how can I turn off vorpX and launch the game as usual?

    Hope anyone knows answers. Thanks

Headset runtimes use predicted values for their frame interpolation. When you run a game with low framerates (in case of AFR the actual framerate per eye is half the game’s framerate) these prediction algorithms may overshoot a little occasionally. To get totally rid of effects like that you would have to run AFR 3D at 180fps on a 90Hz headset, which in case of Cyberpunk probably is a good goal to aim at in 2077. ;)

    Hi Ralf,

I used the VR mod with an RTX 3090 and whilst performance seems acceptable the visuals are not. Everything looks blurry at medium to long distance even when using the resolution set to Ultra in the VX menu or when using the fidelity FX set to Low. When using this every edge has a shimmer/ghosting making the game feel like you are on acid. Any setting that can alleviate this?

I am using the GoG version and a HP Reverb G2 and it might be the headset resolution is the cause? In Steam VR you can tailor the HMD render res but I am not sure how to do this when using GoG?

    Second question,

If I want to revert to play the game normally 2D via my monitor, is there a quick way to disable the VR version?

    Thanks for the mod!

    @ all

    Happy New Year!

Is your Cyberpunk 2077 up-to-date (1.31)? With an older game version the mod would behave that way. Your PC indeed is not really strong enough unfortnately though. :( For an enjoyable experience you need a GTX1080/5700XT and to make it look really good a current highend PC is heavily recommended.

I can’t aim with the stick to save my life, and aim assist has to be off to prevent horrible judder when moving while locked on to a target. Also I have the vertical sensitivity turned way down on my right stick so I don’t keep moving my view up and down when I’m trying to turn.

Good Idea about turning down the y sensitivity, I didn’t know you could do that. In Full VR there’s literally no reason to have to move the y axis when you should be looking around with your neck.

For me, anytime the camera isnt locked straight ahead its a one way trip to barf town. So I find myself very carefully trying to only move the view left and right.

I did find a solution potentially to the problem.

I hooked up a dual shock 5( 4 would also work)

using DS4Windows I set the DS5 to emulate a xbox controller. The default profile is mapped one to one with an xbox controller. I created a secondary profile called Vorpx and assigned it to the Cyberpunk2077.exe so that it loads automatically when the gane runs.
On the Vorox profile , I have unmapped the RY up and down axis so no more accidental vertical camera movement and I set the built in gyroscope set as a mouse which is only active when I push the Left trigger (L2)

This allows me to aim with the gyro when aimimg down the sights which is far more accurate and intuitive than using the stick. ( It kind of feels like you are actually aimimg the gun with motion controls)

An alternative to this set up if you dont like gyro aimimg is.

under special actions tab add an action to L2 to trigger a temporary profile change to default which will switch back to the Vorox profile when you release the trigger. If you recall the Vorpx profile I unmapped the RY axis but when aiming down the sight this restores the RY mapping of the default profile.

To get the view straight again after aiming you can do it before you let go of aim. Or even better I have the touchpad in the center set up as a mouse trackpad so I can quickly adjust it with a swipe. This is very useful when the game decides to tilt your view to look at something.

@Ralf I know you have a vorpx option to disabke the Y in normal vorpx but I tried it and it doesn’t work.

Woukd it not be possibke to add an option under input settings to have a similar functionality as I described above since you’re emulating tje xbox controller anyway? Just dont map the RY axis unless you push a button of your choosing?

Obviously it would probably be impossible to do this with the gamepad because you probably aren’t emulating a real controllers xinput.

Edit: If the game you try this with actually supports the Direct Input controller you are using you can use the Ds4windows option to hide the original controller from windows.

That’s unrelated. A bit confusing, but these entries are related to the DirectVR memory scannner, a feature of the regular vorpX that is used in some other games, but not in the mod.

Something I didn’t mention before: the mod only works corectly with the current Cyberpunk 2077 version (1.31), not with older versions.

If that also is not your issue, please send your [User]\AppData\Temp\vorpX.log file via mail to support at vorpx com. I’d like to check wehther it shows anything unusual in respect to head tracking.
