did you try my cloud profile ?
i play in Z3D because else my fps sucks, but G3D works but it’s heavy on fps specially if you want to run every graphics to max and with ini tweaks.

did you try alternative hooking method ?

https://framedsc.github.io/GeneralGuides/universal_ue4_consoleunlocker.htm this tool you only use it once the game has fully loaded inside the game world.

did you add AT-Win64-Shipping.exe to the profile you tried to use ?

I tried the alternate hooking method and no dice.

I did not add AT-Win64-Shipping.exe which profile is this located on.

No I didnt try it yet gonna try it out right now as we speak, I havent gotten my hands on kakarot yet but trying to hook to Dragonball Fighter Z. That is also an unreal 4 engine game and the characrter models are all in 3d so it should look super sick in G3D.

Dragonball Z Kakarot, as it has a first person mode AND many people have been wanting a Dragonball VR experience for a long time.

It would do a lot of good to improve Vorpx publicity and the amount of people who would buy vorpx, and I daresay we might even see a wealth of new people buying into VR solely because of a DBZ VR experience.

The game has a first person mode.

Please consider adding support for this game Ralf, there has been a huge demand for a Dragonball Z VR game and I suspect that adding support for the game would give Vorpx a great amount of positive publicity.

Support for the game would sure as hell result in all the VR subreddits blowing up about it, it would be great for both VR and Vorpx, and I daresay we might even see a large influx of new people buying into VR solely because there would be a DBZ VR experience.

Voice control activated supersaiyan transformations would be something.
I’m pretty sure everyone who watched DBZ fantasised about transforming into a supersaiyan at some point in their lives.

Just to clarify I am trying to launch Resident Evil 7. Also My VorpX Desktop will not launch either. I tried disabling My bitdefender antivirus and firewall, turned off MSI DragonCenter, and exited my GeForce Experience.

The Dragon Age/Dragon Age 2 issue will be resolved in the next regular vorpX update. I don’t have an exact date yet, but definitely before Christmas.

Just to avoid potential confusion: before that there will probably one more hotfix for the current release branch tomorrow. this hotfix will not contain the required changes yet. The next regular update will come after that.

Having the same issue with Dragon Age II, I captured a video of it. I can play with no glitching if I use DX11 but then I can’t use geometry mode, with DX9 I get this flickering. I tried adjusting every VorpX option with no change. Sorry for my loud birds, I didn’t turn off my mic before recording.

Hmm, that might be a tricky one. I can’t seem to find any info on what engine it uses, other than Dead Rising 1, 2, and 3 all used different engines.

Profiles from Unreal Engine 3 and Unity would be my first attempt, as common engines I sometimes get lucky with. I’m guessing DR2 is dx9 based, so you might try the Unreal Engine 3 base profile or one of the older Call of Duties. Then Anna, or Slender: The Arrival which are both Unity dx9 I believe.

Lastly, it might be worth trying with Source engine like Half Life 2 before giving up.

No idea if any of these will work, that’s just what I would try if I had the game.

Might have a chance for DR1 though with profiles from Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen or Lost Planet 2, which seem to share the MT Framework engine.

Hey guys, I just bought VorpX this last weekend and I’m having an issue in Dragon Age: Origins. I couldn’t find another thread about this issue, I first noticed it when I tried to reset my view using VorpX in game. When it reloaded there were parts of the environment that were missing and my character will flicker in and out of the game while I move. I finished the area I was at and when it loaded the next area it was still having the problem. I tried restarting my computer and it seemed to be okay, but occasionally it will do it again. Right now my save file will load with this issue and I can’t seem to get it to function properly again. Thanks for any help. I also have a couple small issues with Max Payne 3, it looks great in 3D, but the aiming pointer is hard to use and sometimes splits into 2. The subtitles also get messed up when a character pops up through them. Anyone have an idea for those?

    Thanks,
    Mike

Hi there, people. New guy here doing a little research.

I have been wanting to play Dragons Dogma, a game I really like in my 2D days, but now I have VR I would really like to try it in VR. However, its really hard to find anyone`s experiences with this game in VorpX elsewhere, so four simple questions, if I may…

I dont know all the terms you guys may use with VorpX so forgive me if I make some errors in terminology.

    1. Does Dragons Dogma in Vorpx allow full VR, by full Vr, I mean does it place you into the world properly, ie, your head HMD position in game is in place of the Hero`s head?

    2. Does it allow VR controls? (I actually dont mind if I have to run it all on Mouse keyboard.)

    3. Does it play reasonably well in this mode?

    4. Are there any serious problems that might make the game unplayable in this mode? Loss of headtracking position, loss of menus, etc?

Thats it. Thanks for reading and/or answering.

More of a review but I just bought this today. I gotta say between VorpX and this thing, I’m just having a wonderful time with VR. This emulator basically builds NES games for VR and it works REALLY REALLY well. I just finished playing TwinBee, kind of a side scrolling shooter that I used to play as a child. Man when you flip it down, the bottom is even done in 3-D and it looks fantastic. This is a very simple game, but with the addition of VR/3-D it looks insanely good. I also tried Contra and yeah, fantastic. Highly recommend if you are an old fan of the NES. If he manages to get the Genesis going, I’ll probably never see my wife again. :D

Would really love to see Final Fantasy or Dragon Warrior made over.

    Hey guys,

I just want to gauge what I can expect from vorpx performance wise as I’m new to this.

Could someone else please let me know what kind of performance they’re getting in these games using the direct VR feature.

For mirror’s edge at 1440p (in vorpx menu) I am getting pretty wild fluctuations between 30fps and 60fps on a 1080 gpu and 1600 ryzen.

    Hi,

So far I’ve tried Mirror’s Edge and Far Cry Blood Dragon and unfortunately neither work very well at all.

For some reason about 1 minute after booting either game, Oculus pops up with an error along the lines of it having lost tracking. This isn’t happening with proper VR games in either Oculus or SteamVR, only with vorpX.

Secondly, both games I’ve tried are inexplicably capped at 40fps. My gpu is a 1080 and cpu is a ryzen 1600x. I can play both these games in 4K no problem so I don’t understand why the fps is so low in vorpX, perhaps some menu option I’ve misunderstood?

I’m a bit let down because I took these two games off the “good full VR games for beginners list” believing they were pretty much ready to go.

    Any advice welcomed!
