Topic: Activation key
Before I raise a paypal dispute because I cant use the software I legitimately paid for, I would like one last opportunity to get my license activated. I have not broken the license agreement, I have not installed on more than 1 machine, and in 20 years of purchasing software and supporting developers I have never had problems getting license keys every time I reinstall my OS. I can find nowhere in the license agreement that prevents me from doing this.
When playing Fallout 4, the controller input used for crucial gameplay functions I.e. Sprinting brings up Vorpx menus and functions. how do I disable this? With this functionality enabled the game is unplayable for me.
Also, I’m using a ps3 controller with an SCP x input emulator. But even when I disable it and just use the built in Vorpx emulation, the problem still occurs.
Hello;
I have waited for more than 48 hours but I cannot see any sign of my registration key at the horizon.
Sent two email to support team,
one from TBird,
one from the contact form. Now I signed up to the forum and instantly received the confirmation email, so NO – there’s no spam filter blocking your emails.
I don’t know your labor hours, neither the volume of traffic you handle daily, but I never experimented such a slow communication / activation of a product, even from the worst game keys websites.
IN EVER.I can assure you that I hope to have no technical problems with your product, or it could become an odyssey.
Now,
please,
could someone look at the register |at| vorpx com email and send me the registration code? Thanks in advance.
There are some major issues with controller emulation.
You can’t hold down attack. Sometimes it will hold for a short time on the first shot, but it always releases and then fires off as if it’s rapid fire. This is a huge problem as it renders bows and power attacks unusable. The command just does not ‘hold’ properly for some reason. Even rebinding the attack commands to keyboard keys does not fix the issue.
In a related problem, I can’t rebind the mouse keys. I was able to do it exactly once, but it has not worked since. I get the empty command in the box […] but after that I am unable to replace the command with a mouse click or do anything else with the mouse in the menu. I have to back out and restart to be able to use the VorpX key binding menu again.
It would be nice if I could use the partial emulation to just play with the gamepad buttons, but the problem there is that there is no head tracking. If I disable the right stick emulation using the partial disable I am unable to look around at all, which kind of defeats the point of having it.
Hard emulation of the gamepad is unpleasant as it causes dizziness as looking around causes continued movement. It’s not a viable option.
Put simply, the gamepad emulation of this thing is completely screwed up. I either had good comfortable tracking, or I am able to properly use the attack commands, but I am unable to work out a way to do both at the same time.
There’s also a weird movement problem. Any faster than a slow crawling walk, and you don’t stop moving immediately upon releasing the analog stick. Your character takes several steps forward and often ends up in traps or hazards, or with their face against a wall because of it.
The emulation in this program is a problem and does not work properly. Every mode has a different major issue that makes gameplay difficult.
If you could figure out how to allow for proper [official] gamepad support and still have head tracking that would be great, but as it stands emulation just doesn’t work properly.
Topic: VorpX non-functional
Hi guys,
first of, I have followed all hints at basic trouble shooting, spent hours trying to resolve this issue by searching the web. Unsuccessful so far.
I can not get VorpX to work with any game on my system at all.
iMac running Windows 8.1 pro with up to date Bootcamp drivers
Oculus Rift DK2, runtime 0.6
VorpX beta1
NVIDIA Driver Version 355.83
Clean Windows 8.1 installationOculus config set to extend mode. Selected DK2 as primary display in system settings. Also tried assigning different hotkeys.
The Rift is always acting as a 2D monitor. VorpX does not inject at all, when I am pressing the corresponding hotkey.
Oculus desk demo running well, so is Quake for Rift. Appreciate your help.
Thanks
ChristianTopic: Ralf Do you think?
Could you please try to make this easier to use. I was forced to reinstall windows. I decided to put aside my game development for awhile (which is what I use the oculus primarily for) then I saw that vorpx runs eso online. So I reinstalled all the sdk and drivers and then vorpx.
Now the damn program is treating me like I just purchased it. I tried my registration information and it is telling me to email you…
You charge a lot of money for this software and it should run seamlessly between updates and reinstalls that is the internet software standard. I should not have to request (seeing as how I bought the software) new registration keys for reinstall…
From what I gather you are doing this all by yourself and I know that is tough. But program flow is very important.
