ParticipantSounds promising. I don’t have the game, but I’ll be keeping an eye on this one.

ParticipantI was going to suggest your “BTW” to him, but I figure this was pretty obvious. I guess it wasn’t for him. Not everyone tries things before launching into 6 pages of text I guess.
Also, change your aspect ratio to something more square. It helps fill up the FOV for cinema and immersive modes.dborosev
ParticipantFor 3rd person games I highly recommend cinema or immersive modes.

ParticipantI had no doubt you were on it. ;-) As these are 2 pretty high profile games that would look amazing in 3D.
I guess its always an unknown when a new game engine comes out which hasn’t been vorpx-used before.

ParticipantI have no horse in this dollhouse race (throws hands in the air) so I ain’t getting involved. But I will say that for FPS games which I can’t get good framerates on using G3D, and I need to use Z3D, having the ability to crank up the 3D depth to 3 (as currently exists) is VERY nice, and makes it almost as good as G3D. (no dollhouse or any of that topic, just quality of the 3D effect I’m talking about.)
It really brings the quality closer to G3D, and I rarely miss G3D because of this.
Anywho, my 2 unwanted cents. Peace out.dborosev
ParticipantCan confirm Deep Rock Galactic works.

ParticipantYour profiles I definitely wouldn’t be worried about. :) But there are a ton of bad ones out. I was thinking if one received enough “flags”, then Ralf could periodically notice and delete the garbage profiles.
I would want to see before I buy a game, if a profile has been flagged as bad. It would save me a lot of game returns.Jul 3, 2020 at 10:48pm in reply to: Suggestion: Ability to flag cloud profiles as “not working” #195769dborosev
ParticipantI would, before I downloaded it. It would save me from wasting my time.
Also, most of the authors I’m sure are not into “upkeeping” their one off profiles from 2 years ago.

ParticipantDx12 is already working to some degree if I’m not mistaken.
And yes, this will be the game to end all games, no doubt. Counting the days…

ParticipantWell, happy to say I had some time to fiddle tonight, and created my first profile. I edited the shaders on the existing cloud profile to fix the lighting issues that were driving me crazy. It wasn’t too difficult at all. Uploaded it to the cloud.
Enjoy.dborosev
ParticipantHey Deceptive Pastry,
Did you post the profile you made with your fixes? If not, I’ll take a stab at it when I get some time.dborosev
ParticipantI’ve been running all my games at 8k resolution, so I can’t wait to finally run at 16k res in G3D.
;) Nice little performance boost to make an already awesome product even more awesomer!

ParticipantSounds easy enough. :) Email sent.

ParticipantI’ve never fully finished skyrim, but I’ve started it exactly 8 times, and have about 400 hours in it. This time I’m determined to see it through. And its just so gorgeous now, I think I will.
Plus all the sneaking, rope climbing, back stabbing, extra dark mods I’ve installed make it oh so suspenseful.Jun 16, 2020 at 5:15pm in reply to: SkyrimSE + 30 mods + VorpX cinema mode = better than Skyrim VR #195400dborosev
ParticipantOh I enjoy both. The thing I guess I wasn’t getting across in my original post which makes it better for me in VorpX is that fact that I can play in VorpX in Cinema mode which lets me run the game at much lower FPS tolerably. I can usually tolerate a 30fps for slow paced games like skyrim, which lets me mod the crap out of the game and make it look utterly stunning graphically. For those of us who don’t have a $2000 video card from the future, this is great. I’m pretty sure the way I have it modded would drive almost any video card into the ground. And you don’t want to sacrifce those 90fps you need for head movement in real VR.
