dellrifter22ParticipantI agree that a removal option would be better, sometimes old profiles become broken after updates, or better profiles are later created.
For now, one thing you can do if you still have the original file you uploaded, is to attempt to reshare it again, but first change its name to some garbage, like “…..”. That way it will not appear in searches for that game name. A trick I have used before, but admittedly need to do with several of my old profiles.

dellrifter22ParticipantVery nice! This will be quite useful.
I enjoy experimenting with the authoring tool in games almost as much as actually playing them. This will be fun :)
dellrifter22ParticipantIt could be a device conflict. Try unplugging any extra usb devices or controllers and reboot.

dellrifter22ParticipantWow, that IS cool!
I’m excited already to experiment with this.
If it also means more control of hand/weapon fov/position/scale, even better.
dellrifter22ParticipantIs there a single player mode for this game? I’ve wanted to try it, but I read that all of the servers run BattleEye anti cheat. How did you play this?
dellrifter22ParticipantIs this an openGL only game? The steam page requirements list openGL. If that’s true, you might be out of luck sadly because vorpX can’t run on newer openGL.
But hopefully I’m wrong.
dellrifter22ParticipantYes Ralf, I experiment with dozens of UE4 indie games and many have this terrain texture problem to some degree. I’ve spent many hours attempting to resolve them somehow with the tool but failed. Usually the best I can do is find a less offensive texture assignment, with minimal detail, and try to ignore it. Otherwise, UE4 is my favorite engine for vorpX, as it is very easy to setup with vorpX, looks clean, and many indie games use it. It would be a tremendous help to me and my profile work if you could find a solution. Perhaps I’ll pray for rain :)
dellrifter22ParticipantSome cool stuff! Looking forward to it.
dellrifter22ParticipantI messed around with the shaders last night and managed to get some good results you can try. Check the cloud for Dying Light (G3D) [dellrifter22]
First you’ll need to set additional FOV:
With Notepad, open video.scr found in C:\Users\*name*\Documents\DyingLight\out\settings
Remove any reference to OculusEnabled, and edit/add the line:ExtraGameFov(50.00)
Recommended Settings:
-use a 4:3 resolution (1600×1200,1920×1440) in Fullscreen mode
-set Textures High, Ambient Occlusion is optional
-set Anti Aliasing OFF to avoid texture blur
-set all other graphical options to OFF or their Lowest*scalable HUD, use EdgePeek for cutscenes
*vorpX G3D Shadow Treatment set to OFF will disable global illumination for a simpler/cleaner look if desired
*tested on HP G1 with mouse and keyboard. DLC not testedA few particle effects and fire were disabled for bad 3D translation, and some blood effects and shadows may not appear exact. The tiny toddler Player arms while climbing is funny, but could not be fixed without breaking other animations.
G3D in this game is quite performance heavy, so expect to use a modest resolution (I use 1600×1200 with 2080ti). After 10 minutes your immersion forgets about jaggies :) Enjoy.
dellrifter22ParticipantI get hooking issues sometimes with my HP G1 if steam VR Server is already running (after quiting/crashing a previous game) in witch case I need to kill the VRserver process in the task manager and let vorpX reinitiate steamVR automatically upon launching the next game. Now I just habitually kill the steamVR/VRserver process after each game I play. Maybe this is causing the hook problem for others recently too.
dellrifter22ParticipantIt’s the EAC anti cheat that’s the problem, not the engine. Unfortunately most anti cheats block vorpX injection.
Sad, because I’ve had interest in this game for vorpX since it launched. I’m fairly certain it would look great in G3D also. Bummer.
dellrifter22ParticipantThat’s good. If reshade can do it, then I’m hoping vorpX can do it soon too.
I’m still hoping and waiting, Valhalla’s the main title I have been wanting to play this year. I’m just a sucker for beautiful large open worlds to explore, and of course there is no better way than in VR :)
Thanks again for the tip. It’s good to know there may be a plan B.
dellrifter22ParticipantI’m glad :)
yes, it really is cool to fly around in Capture Mode to look at things up close. Now I just wish I could find a working 100% save for the standard game so i can see all of the dinosaurs, but all that I can find require mods or DLC :/
Guess I’ll just wait for a sale)
dellrifter22ParticipantNice! Very cool! That is no small accomplishment.
Thanks RJK, and also for your many tools and insights to help the community.
Long live vorpX :)
dellrifter22ParticipantUpdate: I managed to fix the former weapon model problem, now things look as they should. Re-download from the cloud to apply the new changes.
The profile default is now FullVR mode, which is best if you don’t mind edgepeeking occasionally for HUD notifications. Unfortunately the HUD cannot be scaled without causing other distracting graphical problems.
I also tested the online play and it’s working fine. Enjoy.
