There’s no easy way to go about. That being said its not hard it just takes some time and trial and error to get set up how you like it. Skyrim is fairly easy out of the box because there isn’t a ton of buttons to map.

You just need to map mouse and keyboard to the game pad. Is it easy, yes, is it time consuming, yes, does it work? yes for over 200 hours just on Skyrim lol
If your a gamepad guy like me you just have to face facts. PC isn’t as easy to just plug and play with controllers, but you do have a lot of options as far as customizing layouts.
Its frustrating the first time you have to map controlls but its part of it so it is what it is, get used to it, then its easy.. Also try to map vorpx edge peek and cam recenter to buttons as well..

Dying LightAll work and hook normal, direct mode is cool(extended never was an issue for me but this is way nicer). The games all seemed to really run great. Super smooth and clear, it was fine before, but now Something just feels so much smoother. The view mode so people can watch is perfect too! Time for some serious VR sessions with the dudes now that you can see what the person is doing. Really lovin it so far, great job.
After doing the update dance its up and working great. It looks really good, just played bioshock inf and man it looks so clear!
Just a tip about updating, I think if you just start vorpx driver and like enter a game it won’t update. Open vorpxs config app to update, at least I think anyway… that’s the way it worked for me. Just incase people wondering when the update comes out.
Mite have to pick this up when it comes out, last star wars games I played were on the N64 lol
Fallout 4 will work fine, I’m 99% sure, should be an easy tweek to Skyrims. If you’re as wet as I am on day one change the exe to skyrims. Bet you dollars to doughnuts it hooks and hopefully has G3D!
@criz, you followed all the directions, you know except for using a MAC…. there’s your problem guy… oculus has a sketchy time working on systems its made for and your dumb enough to think its going to work just fine lol its good you sold your dk2, you would just hurt yourself.
Oh yeah I figured it couldn’t be called the enterprise and all that but something like that would be cool :) I was thinking more for playing then watching, like say your into creepy games you could have a scary basement youre sitting in while you play lol or like a galaxy type setting if youre playing something like that. Or a nuked out living room while you play Fallout 4 on a 1950s TV. Anyway just something to maybe think about down the road.
Watching movies on the bridge view screen from the captains chair of the Enterprise would be pretty awesome. A drive-in style setting might be cool to.
I think it would be cool to have an all-in-one type thing too for VR media. I wouldn’t think its even on the to do list rite now, who knows a few years down the road after everything game wise is more sorted out they can add non game features. Id rather them focus on expanding and improving the game stuff rather then trying to be an all in one solution. Anyway you could try Cineveo or something(vr movie theater) or whirlygig vr player for 3D movies. Whirlygig worked great for my 3D movies. Hunt around some you can find a player that will work.
OMG.. just swap around some runtimes, in the time it took to wet your panties you could of been finished rolling back and ready to play with your new stuff. ERMA_GURD
P.S. for Ralph: If you could get 3D openGL support I would buy another license just because. With openGL, we could play the 2 new Wolfenstein games, SOMA, the Amnesia series games probably a lot of others but those would be worth the price of admission alone.
Any type of openGL support would be cool. Would love to play some Wolfenstein in my Rift! If you could get 3D down the road that would be the cherry on top of the VR Nazi-killtoberfest. Anyway keep up the good work looking forward to seeing what you have cooked up this time around.
I get that people mite be sketched out on buying some dudes driver. In this case don’t be. Flat out if you want to actually use your dk2 you have to have vorpX. Buy it, learn it, love it. Without vorpX there would be no way to enjoy all the games you want to in VR. Oculus demos are cool and all but its amateur hour for the most part. Play all the great AAA games that are out now but in VR with vorpX.
