lipplogParticipantYeah, I’m finding some games have DirextVR while others have been stripped of it. Once I reset the game to default profile, do I import the VorpX profile again? Or do I just avoid the cloud profiles for those effected games until the next update?
lipplogParticipantthe latest update fixed everything for me. And the FOV mod was also updated. I recommend it for flawless distortion free image.

lipplogParticipantLatest version here…

lipplogParticipant1. WOW! How did I not know about this?! I’m using a tv as an external display, so none of these resolutions were available to me, until now.
2. Yeah, the Next Weapon command is triggered by squeezing the left controller palm buttons and pressing the right controller top button. But while you to move over each selection with the right controller trackpad, you’re supposed to select one with the right controller trigger. But unfortunately this only seems to happen one out of ten times. Making it almost impossible to switch weapons. If anyone knows a more reliable button assignment, please let me know.
3. I will check my bios ASAP.
Thanks so much, Ralf! You are awesome!
lipplogParticipantOkay 3 questions:
1. What’s the highest 4:5 resolution I can go on Half Life 2?
2. Which buttons on the Vive controller switch weapons?
3. I just upgraded to an i7. Is there something I need to do to take full advantage?
lipplogParticipantJudder could be your settings are too high. This game is hard on System’s before VR.
lipplogParticipantYou were right. I reinstalled and all the games have DriectVR again.
lipplogParticipantSent! Let me know what you find. Happy New Year!
lipplogParticipantUPDATE: Uninstalling Malwarebytes resolves the Resident Evil issue. And with the latest VorpX update, Resdint Evil works great!
lipplogParticipantIs anyone else getting the error message “access denied” (0x5)?
lipplogParticipantStrange. Now when I run Resident Evil 7 with VorpX I get “Access is denied” (0x5). It runs fine without VorpX. Any ideas?
lipplogParticipantThank you, Ralf. Your hard work and responsiveness is very much appreciated.
Are you saying the games are fixed now, or will be fixed in the next update?
IIRC, the Dear Esther source is no longer available on steam. I tried the Landmark Edition last month and didn’t have body control. E.g. if I turn 90 degrees to the right and walked forward, I instead walk sideways to the left. In other words, my head can turn 360 degrees, but my body stays stuck in one direction.
Do you know if the GTAVR mod still works with BorpX? It may be what’s been causing y distortion and flickering shadows.
Also, any word on Resident Evil 7? The mod made by CivilWare to correct the game’s FOV no l8nger works since the latest steam update.
Last one, I’m still getting a blank window when I open VorpX configuration via the SteamVR Desktop. Virtual Desktop and Big Screen as well.
lipplogParticipantThat sounds rather odd, never heard of that before. A reinstall might make sense.
If you have Windows system restore points enabled, it’s probably also a good idea to go back to a restore point from before the issue occured. That may save you some trouble shooting.
I was due for a clean install anyway, so I erased my hard drive, and reinstalled Windows 10, Steam, SteamVR, latest Nvidia drivers, and VorpX. The first time I opened VorpX, the configuration window was fine. But the first time I opened it from inside the SteamVR Desktop, it was blank again!
Could this be a GPU driver thing? I switched the Windows Desktop resolution, but the window stayed blank.
Any ideas?
lipplogParticipantThanks Ralf!
lipplogParticipantYeah, I should really set up restore backup. I’ll reinstall for now. Thanks!
