    yes RE5 is certainly tricky, theres a perfect FoV hack and laser sight hack which helps with the jumbo crosshair size you get in injected oculus rift games, in that regard laser sight is one thing to look out for.

    and yeah crysis 3 works perfect in geometry 3D, no issues with shadows/lights that I can see, if you can find a crysis 3 solution that allows for FOV enhacnement let me know as that would be better than the one I was using.

    Got Another game, remember me, rename to UDK for perfect 3D and also to remember settings as it has no profile to begin with (I suggest ralf just add the profile and use another one as a base for it),

    3D fov enhacnement works for remember me but you might as well use the INI file change, just need to find a way to move the hud in, suggest using grain removal texmod in order to remove the grain, since vorpx zooms in on the image the grain is much larger than intended, widescreen fixer also has a FOV fix but it doesn’t seem to recognise when I’m running the game, is probably because i changed the exe.

    I also got Resident evil 5 to work by removing launcher from the excluded programs in vorpx, but I can’t get any 3D to enable, I tried changing exe names but its complicated due to there being a launcher exe and a game exe, any advice on what to do?

    I have a similar situation with gears of war, can’t seem to change exe names without issues and vorpx never injecting, there is a startup.exe and a gears war game exe.

    I managed to get success with crysis 3, rename it to DXHRDC, you will now have geometry 3D, however the FOV enhancer does not work, so your stuck with 112 FOV (the maximum the engine will allow)

    Still, it’s an improvement.

    when the update arrives will there be a changelog so we know which new profiles have been added?

    oh I see, I understand then, may I also ask why there is a cap of 50 on the zoom, is there a similar reason behind that, like something breaks when you go below these values? if so maybe you could remove the cap and present a similar message stating going lower may result in gltches, its mostly just a temporary thing to see a menu/cutscene.

    I would love to reach .20 zoom, then I could see the whole screen if needed, right now I have to switch to letter-box 2 then 50 to see the whole screen(which i never do as its cumbersome), this kindof ties into my edge peek zoom level request, which ideally I would like to set to zoom level .20 pixel 1:1.

    If you’ve played deus ex human revolution you’d understand, everytime you get in a conversation with someone you really need to zoom way out, like zoom 10 (if it existed in pixel 1:1).

    on TR:U I was happy to play it in geometry 3D with hud issues, to me the game turned out overall great, despite the small hud issues, best 3D I have seen in a game thus far.

    Thank you soo much, once implemented when a cutscene happens or I need to use a menu I’ll just press the edge peek button and I will see the whole screen easily, then once finished I just press it again and go back to my previous zoom level, great news.

    Thanks for that link, you should try bulletstorm, it has perfect 3D with strength set at 1, unfortunately ADS has double vision in the gunsight so i have to lower it to 0.4, if you can think of a way to hide that part of the gun that would be perfect, you will know what I mean when you install it

    See below for my head fix (alingns AND scales)

    under stormhud.ini set the values
    BaseScreenWidth=1200
    BaseScreenHeight=1620

    this pushes the hud to the center, it also scales the hud by the resolution, so it makes the hud much smaller, so for once the crosshair size is decent inside vorpx.

    im trying to find a way to move the hud up from this point, any help would be appreciated.

    I tried renaming crysis 3’s exe, but it didn’t work, vorpx just loaded the regular crysis 3 profile, any other advice?

    Bulletstorm works amazingly well, perfect 3D, no anomalies as far as I can tell, you can change the field of view in an ini file as well, however I can’t seem to find a way to change the FOV when running which is far too low, anyone got any tips?

    Oh right I see yes that’s fine if only you can edit it.

    my only suggestion would be to only note if geometry 3D works, z buffer/adaptive isn’t all that great, and most games support it anyway.

    oh right so you can force vorpx to inject then? do you just change the exe name in windows, I would like to try deus ex 1 and gears of war 1, both those games never injected, but am I right in saying if I change the gears of war exe to armaII exe vorpx will inject?

    So people will update that with games that have geometry 3D and DK2, sounds like a good idea.

    I noticed the assassins creed games are there, does anyone know if any of them work with geometry 3D as you’d need that in order to enable 3D FOV enhancement, pretty sure those games can’d be modified with a FOV hack in any other way.

    I was able to change them but it made aiming down sites unplayable.

    I don’t think I can agree with you that this game works well, bioshock infinite was great, I was rate this game as bad/poor due to game gun size issue.

    crysis 1 on the other hand works well.

    yes I noticed one game that supports HUD scaling under 3D is crysis 1, it almost gets to where I want it to be with the lowest setting, but not quite, if that number could be lowered to 30 that would be great, is there any reason on the cap being 50 in these settings, like UI scaling and zoom?

    however in the above post I was refering to the camera height modifier functuionality, the game was tomb raider underworld, and changing this settings actually changed the hud placement which is what I want anyway, I think it would be a good idea to have the same option on the X axis, I know the wording would be strange , I guess it would be called “camera pan modifier” but sometimes this settings changes the hud which can be a lifesaver in games.

    note that the FOV value is vertical, so thats about 112 FOV horizontal, this is actually okay if you zoom out the image in the rift, say to zoom level 60, however the huge gun poses a big problem as it effectively blocks your FOV more than it should.

    Ah yes I have noticed that that is the issue, although the game does not hook with vorpx it seems the game semi works with no injection if you select a 3:4 aspect ratio, same goes for gears of war 1, in fact both those games seem to naturally work quite well when those aspect ratios are selected, it gives more vertical FOV than the typical widescreen aspect ratio and looks fine in the rift, we just need vorpx to add its chromatic aberation fix and add headtracking and it would be fine.

    anyway to add those in with vorpx without vorpx actually injecting.
