RalfKeymasterPlease make sure to
1. use the same mail address for the new request that you used when you purchased vorpX. Otherwise your request can not be verified.
2. check your spam folder.
Requests that can be verified are normally answered fast (mostly within minutes), so you should have received a key if you used the same mail address that was used for the purchase.
Unfortunately the address you used for registering here on the forum is not in our database.
RalfKeymasterPlease try to reinstall vorpX. Your screenshot is a bit blurry, but it looks like vorpControl.exe has a size of 0KB. In other words it’s an empty file.
RalfKeymasterCan’t check it right now, but normally the vorpX cursor should kick in automatically in this game. If it doesn’t, you can try to enable it manually with [ALT][C].
RalfKeymasterCan’t promise anything before the game is out, but if possible it will be supported. Probably a good game for playing in Virtual Cinema Mode.
RalfKeymasterStar Citizen isn’t officially supported, but should generally work quite reliable when you launch the main .exe directly instead of using the launcher.
RalfKeymasterSounds as if the FOV (field of view) may be too low. Did you apply the Game Optimizer settings for Outlast in the vorpX config app?
For general information about how to deal with FOV issues and other important informations please check the Essential Game Hints in the vorpX help.
RalfKeymasterThe DK2 is supported since last August.
RalfKeymasterA developer who would publically announce a product to be “bug free” at a specific time in the future would be a hot cacdidate for the title “Fool of the Century”. :)
That being said, CV1 support will be made available as soon as possible. With some luck it won’t require huge changes except for adjustements of the optical paramenters to accommodate for the different lenses. After all the DK2 was meant to develop for CV1.
RalfKeymasterMany modern games have large enough text so that this not an issue everywhere. The problem with the 2D EdgePeek, which was the default before the 3D EdgePeek was introduced, is that some people got dizzy using it since it’s completely unnatural: the whole image slides when you rotate your head. The 3D version is also much better for watching cutscenes.
But since I had the suspicion that some would still prefer the old algorithm, I left it in as an option. I hope you can live with that decision. :)
RalfKeymasterThanks for sharing. Should be of great value for those who need to wear their glasses in the Rift.
RalfKeymasterNo, sorry, no quicker way to get an answer from them. If you are uncertain whether you have been charged, please check your credit card account. As said above, with 99.99999% probability you were not charged since your purchase did not succeed.
I sent you an alternative purchase link which you can try. Please check your mail.
RalfKeymaster@ gustavor38 : Maybe you shouldn’t take everything for granted that someone writes, especially not the original post above. Noone waits weeks for a download link. Also the main dev (me) is on the forum almost every day. I’d say you have a hard time finding product forums with more active devs. Besides that I really don’t know what to say to your post. For your own sake I assume you are trying to be funny.
RalfKeymasterExact same thing. You should contact MyCommerce directly about this, maybe your order is just held for credit card validation.
All we can see is that the purchase failed, we cannot see what exactly is wrong from the data we have. You can reach them via their shopper contact form:
RalfKeymasterYour purchase is marked as “This cart has not completed the checkout process.” in the database of our e-commerce service MyCommerce, hence they did not send you anything.
You almost certainly were not charged for this failed attempt. If against all odds you were charged (you can verify that in your credit card account), please contact us again and I’ll clarify the matter with MyCommerce.
RalfKeymasterDid you read the DK2 Setup Guide and the other guides in the vorpX help?
