steph12Participantso, i used cyberpunk2077 profile first, with dx12, zadaptive only and without g3d. I didn’t like colors and have had significant frame drops multiple times. Then I used the Observer profile, with dx11 (you have to add the start command -d11 in the steam options or create a shortcut to the executable, modify it and always add -dx11. Also in this case, despite having the g3d, you don’t have 3d effect and creates problems with dlls but in zadaptive it works much better than dx12 and has better colors. pity you can’t change the fov of the game and hands
you can change fov game using https://www.flawlesswidescreen.org/ or even unreal unlock engine tool maybe.

Really does add another layer of immersion

3oxisParticipantOkay so I tried the ‘Other Mod’ and this is my fair conclusion: It runs smooth and has a fairly large start-up resolution. I uninstalled it quick.
The Vorpx version will remain my PERMANENT cyberpunk 2077 vr mod. After using the gesture controllers and the tweaking options you get with the mod, the xbox controller method is too restricting (to me). I tried it out to see what the fanfare was about. Don’t get me wrong, he did a good & commendable job. It just sacrifices a certain ‘fluidity’ if you know what I mean.
I ALWAYS inform people of Ralf’s version and they come out shocked mostly because there’s NO publicity for this groundbreaking achievement.
Is the Vorpx version perfect? No it’s not but it’s the closest we get to a full blown VR experience of Night city and all it contains. The mod is so cool that I LITERALLY have my arm ache because I physically have to wield my Katana :) and it’s FREE!!!
Kinda hurts that the VR sector would be this biased.
Kudos again to you guys at Vorpx and trust that your efforts will be PROPERLY acknowledged once it’s time.
PS. I’m not just some drooling fanboy, I’m currently building my own Open-World VR experience, so I kinda have an idea of how to appreciate a good VR mod.Mar 20, 2022 at 2:45am #210252In reply to: World of Warcraft looks very blurry
bravekatParticipantFurthermore anything looks very strange as if I was playing in 640×360. On my monitor anything is super sharp (3440×1440 resolution) but on my headset (Quest 2) it is so pixelated and blurry.
This is a Vorpx bug that causes the squished and pixelated image occasionally. It can be fixed by cycling between full screen and windowed mode in WOW game menu/system. I created a key binding for full screen for my keyboard in WOW/game menu/key bindings/ miscellaneous, then set a button on my mouse to that key binding. This allows me to fix the bug instantly while playing with the click of my mouse.
Still hoping for a bug fix, can be distracting especially in team dungeon settings.

run-up15ParticipantHeadset HP Reverb G2 – Cyberpunk 2077 Vr mod: “Use OpenXR instead of SteamVR” does not work for me.
Error message in VorpX log file:
WRN: OpenXRDevice: fov requested without valid view state.
WRN: OpenXRDevice: eye offset requested without valid view state.I would be very pleased to receive help.

drowhunterParticipantOk, this is a crazy feature request, but if you add it I might be valuable as a feature you can brag about.
So right now in the game you can’t really turn around, because the mod would need to constantly recenter you.
Would you be able to add DecaMove support? (Links to sdk and app below)
Even if you dont have an actual DecaMove device, you can use their free android app which works exactly the same. You would then be able to read the users “actual” facing position and map it to the mod. This would allow us to physically turn around without having to recenter. This would be totally amazing and should be quite trivial for you to do.
If the answer is no, is it possible that I could do this in my own cyberpunk mod via CET lua script? I imagine since CP2077 has no actually concept of character center it might not work. But I would just need a way to control the character facing position to the decamoves rotation .

EndlessdescentParticipantDoes Vorpx work with Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition and other DX12 games like Cyberpunk 2077 using raytracing? Thank you.

RalfKeymastermaybe some settings issue. Try to delete your user config file for the game. you can find it in:
C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077
The AppData folder may be hidden. Enable ‚Show hidden files‘ in Windows Explorer if you can‘t see it.
Apart from that I‘m out of ideas I‘m afraid.

in forum General vorpX Discussion
ParadiseDecayParticipantMy Initial Impressions:
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING in VR and one of my FAVOURITE Far Cry games!
* Full VR Mode
* Play with Mouse/Keyboard or a Gamepad.
* Geometry 3D 5/5
(If you recently played and enjoyed Cyberpunk 2077 in VR with the VorpX standalone mod, you’ll LOVE this, its just as good and plays the same!)Mar 3, 2022 at 12:48am #209979In reply to: Cyberpunk VR Update Thread
drowhunterParticipantMay have found a bug. When I set Cap FPS to off that setting specifically doesnt persist. Next time I launch the game its On again.
But on to other awesome discoveries.
This mod
https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/63?tab=files
It disables the forced TAA in the game. Download and install the ini file version (the second link in the files section) this will also cause DLSS not to work, but the trade off may be worth it.
Disabling TAA totally improves the image quality. All of the hazy ghosting that happens around the edges of objects is gone. The trade of is a bit more aliasing/shimmering but I’d take some crisp jaggy edges over fuzzy ghosting.
You can mitigate some of the aliasing by raising the resolution.

drowhunterParticipantJust locked in the best performing settings on my 3080Ti,5800x I’ve ever had with this mod.
With these settings I’m hitting high 60’s in the El Coyote bar and I’ve seen framerates as high as 85fps in some areas.
Normally on Quest the image looks garbage on anything less than phenomenal. But thanks to the latest DLSS version here
I can get it to look really good with Vorpx set to “Nicer” & DLSS set to Quality, 0.1 sharpness.
FSR in Vorpx set to Low 1.3 sharpness
The trick that did it for me was disabling the framerate cap and tracking prediction. Oculus ASW is on “Auto” in the Oculus Debug Tool I made no changes to that, but it doesn’t seem to do anything( at least to the frame counter) as my framerate doesn’t seem to lock to 45. It just feels smoother to me almost as smooth as that “other mod”.
I have attached my Vorpx settings here, just extract it into your vpxCP2077 folder. Its just the ini files for Oculus devices. Hope it helps.

RalfKeymasterThat’s weird. If the uninstaller failed for some reason remove the following file manually:
[CP2077]\bin\x64\plugins\vpxCP2077.asi
If you don’t have any other mods installed that use the Cyber Engine Tweaks modding framework, you can also delete [CP2077]\bin\x64\version.dll.

3oxisParticipant😂 I’ll put in a pre order now for the book 😂
Honestly, if I compare GTA v, red dead etc to luke ross’ I’m hard pressed to find many differences
The auto edge peek for cut scenes is a godsend 😂
And the gesture controls are so cool in CP2077
I can’t understand why Luke Ross gets all the glory
That dude charges 10 a month
Vorpx is a one time payment and does…..so goddamn much
Deserves far more recognition
Also…..interesting story you say? (raises an eyebrow)
Dude, I’m with you on that one. It’s always the case when something superior emerges to challenge the Status Quo
