    Just cause 3 and RE7 work fine with me (Rift user). 2 Long shots i would try first;

    Check that everything is run as administrator (vorpx, the game, custom desktop shortcut etc.)

    Set the game to windowed mode if on full screen and to full screen if in windowed mode and maybe even change some resoltutions ingame (and/or everything GFX related lower to start with) and restart.
    Might want to switch “don’t optimize game settings” on in the general vorpx config menu.

    Blood Knights (G3D)

    This game is probably one you dont want to play on a normal monitor because everthing appears too small and you can not move your characters properly,
    BUT in VR thats a whole different story ! Everything appears way larger and the char movements dont bother you anymore, very interesting to see how a game can gain in quality and handling “just” by putting into into VR.

    – Staying offline while installing keeps you away from “kalypso”
    – Optimized for Immersive Screen Mode
    – Game opens in DOS like Window (?), close that manually after shutdown
    – Profile availiable from the cloud

    Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway (G3D)

    After beeing disappointed about the older Brothers in Arms games because there was no chance to give them a stereo profile, the newer Unreal 3 Engine impresses with its even greater graphics.

    Important FOV Settings :

    Open: C:\Users\…\Documents\My Games\BIA Hells Highway\SumacGame\SumacInput.ini
    -Look for “[Engine.InputActionDefinition]”
    -Look for the line that starts with: “Actions=(Id=IA_ZoomHold,Alias…”
    Change it to: Actions=(Id=IA_ZoomHold,Alias=”.ZOOMHOLD”,Names=(“Zoom”),Command=”ZoomIn | FOV 0 | OnRelease ZoomOut | OnRelease FOV 120″)

    -Ingame assign a key to Zoomhold. Tapping this key will enable enhanced FOV.
    Tipp: Assign this also to the key where you have VorpX “3D Off” have assigned to. This will help for better aiming. You can use both keys seperately depending on the gun/situation.

    Important: Write protect SumacInput.ini after you have made your final adjustments. (The game will otherwise reset your keysettings)

    Additional Settings:
    Somone else suggested another Setting in the ini:

    Under [SumacGame.SumacPlayerInput] add the following line:
    Bindings=(Name=”F2″,Command=”FOV 0″,Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)

    This should help in cutscenes if they look messed up while FOV is changed. (Not tested)

    – Download the profile from the cloud

    When i was new to VorpX is was quite disappointed , but at the end the insane 3D experience outweights the loss in image quality against 3D Vision for example. I play most games in VR now and when ever i go back to a normal monitor evenything looks so small. I remember playing Call of Duty 2 on a 27 inch monitor with 3D Vision, that game was so hard to play, i died every other minute and i stopped playing it. A while later in VR the game was such a breeze because i was able to spot each enemy just like in real.

    It will shurely take a while until you get familiar with vorpx, but when you learn how to optimize a game, i am shure you will enjoy it more. A short hint for the first day: turn up resolution to the max. Create some custom 4:3 resolutions and use the highest that your machine can take. You will notice the higher you get, the better image quality will become. ( in many older games i use resolutions way above 3000 with real crisp results ). In the VorpX menu (del) you find an option that let you sharpen your image which results in an even crisper image.

    … you have purchased a space ship today ;-)

    Thanks ive updated the list.

    Dungeon Siege 2 (G3D)

    -Change DungeonSiege2.ini to:
    x = 0
    y = 0
    width = XXXX
    height = YYYY
    bpp = 32

    -make shortcut to game :
    “C:\path_to_game\DungeonSiege2.exe” fullscreen=false width=XXXX height=YYYY

    – XXXX and YYYY MUST match in ini and shortcut !!
    – you can enter anything above 800×600, i used 1600×1200, but game only plays in the same low resolution. Though the game doesnt look too bad with that low res. 3D looks good !
    -Dont mess with ingame Shader Settings
    – Start game, after first or second video (the one with the mountains) VorpX goes OFF and game shows a resoultion warning on your desktop. Just Press enter to continue. VorpX will come back on.

    Notes: Because mouse cursor does not work in full screen mode with vorpX the game need to be run windowed. Sadly it runs only in a very low resulution.

    to be honest, i’d just love to have the no man’s sky profile removed from vorpx, that way we could try various games profiles (even games with different engines) and see if we can get Z3D works, we never know, that could work. the fov can be tweaked in ini file. i’m no expert, Ralf knows what he’s doing, vorpx is its work and he is the one deciding what to add/remove to vorpx, still it would be great to try.

    still yesterday i played no man’s sky in VR with vorpx in 2D, it was good, but i’d love to try if i can get a profile Z3D working. but HG doesnt allow to launch renamed exe with no man’s sky that’s too bad, and official vorpx profile has 3D disabled cause doesnt support no man’s sky engine rendering.

    ideally i’d love a profile update, the engine got updated, maybe that made vorpx compatible again with no man’s sky just like before that 2.0 update months and months ago.

    and if i’m not wrong, if no man’s sky profile get removed, if we launch no man’s sky with vorpx launched, vorpx automatically creates a profile for unsupported games, so we’ll still at least 2D VR working anyway right ? we’ll just have to manually tweak the fov in ini.

    The FOV is handled automatically for Battlefront 2. vorpX sets it to a value that is perfectly calculated. Setting the FOV manually in games where vorpX can do that automatically can cause comfort issues for more sensitive people rather than avoiding them since even small deviations from the correct FOV may be irritating for them.

    Caveat: the game is a bit special, FOV adjustment is only possible in multiplayer. If you want to play the campaign, it’s better to play in immersive screen mode like dellrifter (and the vorpX startup message for the game) suggests.

    Image quality: you can run games at any resolution with vorpX. Check the “Custom Resolutions” section in the vorpX help, it explains how to add resolutions to your PC that it normally cannot display. Afterwards you can select a preferred quality on the DirectVR page of the vorpX ingame menu in Battlefront 2.

    Just a heads up for everyone eager to play Dying Light.

    I was one of those people who had Dying Light on my wishlist for geo3D support for forever.

    Techland however secretly added VR support in one of the recent patches. I feel like it was stealth released cause they don’t want to “officially” support it.

    But there’s a tweak you can make in one of the config files that will enable VR and it works amazingly well. Probably my favorite VR experience next to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

    It doesn’t have motion/touch support but in terms of “presence” or scale, it basically looks as good as any native VR game or the best possible geo3D vorpx game.

    I am aware that this same tweak was viable around the time the rift DK2’s were released but broke when CV1 came out. However this recent update added it back in and can be played on the cv1

    yes it works but the UI is not designed for VR.

    Whats the tweak? I tried the game quite a while back with VorpX and it was a horrid experience, mostly the FOV but interesting they made VR support, maybe I can get back into it as I never really made it far beyond the tutorial mission

    Fallout Tactics ( 2D )

    I tried this for a joke, Tatcics is a 2D game but for Fallout Retro Fans it might be fun to play this with vorpX.

    -Requires DGVoodoo2
    -Requires Patch 1.25 or 1.27
    -Requires widescreen patch
    -requires windowed mode -w (otherwise it will crash)
    -game does not run higher then 1024×768 with vorpX. Edit resolution in BOS.cfg manually.
    -run windowed once via shortcut, then run patched widescreen exe normally.
    -DONT change res. in game !
    -no profile so far because its 2D only, just throw DGVoodoo2 into the games folder, VorpX will hook through the default DGVoodoo profile.

    Would be cool to get updated OpenGL support for games like Rage. I want it for the new Doom and Wolfensteins myself. Soma could be cool too. IIRC Ralf mentioned he’d like to look more into OpenGL one day, though it would take a lot of work.

    It looks like Rage 2 will run in Apex (Just Cause’s engine) so there’s a good chance we’ll see vorpX functionality with that.

    Not sure when CoD:WaW will get a profile, but for now there is a way to play SP with the Black Ops profile. Takes a few in game console commands to set up, but if it interests you I can upload my profile with instructions over the weekend.

    The fov memory injection Vorpx uses will often cause pop-in. Obviously an in-game setting would not have that problem. I looked around and there seems to be settings for fov in TSW’s latest patch for very wide resolutions:

    https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/no-adjustable-fov-ultrawide-support.2221/

    There is also a ue4 general setting that causes fisheye, but maybe with a high enough 4:3 resolution and using vorpx zoom that warping effect would be beyond your vision inside a headset.

    https://steamcommunity.com/app/530070/discussions/0/1692662484255931282/

    If the fov has really been fixed in a patch for wider resolutions you could also try using a nvidia ultra wide custom resolution [which might make the fov natively increase] and then zoom in with vorpx.

    The positional oddness might be fixed by turning off positional tracking or temporarily moving your head back/foward and resetting centre headset at that new point.
    Or changing the Vorpx aspect ratio setting in combination with shift + mouse wheel for zoom.

    I don’t have the game, but hope this helps.

    Oblivion is completely unplayable right now.

    1. I can only bring up the VorpX menu with my Xbox once while ingame and it’ll crash if I bring it up a second time with the xbox controller.

    2. There seems to be no way for me to disable my Xbox controller for Oblivion ingame movement in VorpX. I only can seem to be able to disable being able to interact with the VorpX menu with my Xbox controller which I DON’T want to do.

    I really wish I could just rollback 1 or 2 updates of VorpX because Oblivion was playing absolutely perfectly before and I didn’t change anything nor install any new mods or anything like that.

    Update: It does seem to be a VorpX issue. When I start Oblivion without VorpX there is no gamepad support. When I do, Gamepad support works but it’s not ideally mapped and the xbox “menu” button crashes Oblivion.

    In the previous version of VorpX, my Xbox gamepad *only* worked for accessing the vorpx menu + edgepeek and had no effect on the game otherwise. I used joy2key for gamepad keymapping.

    Now VorpX has a less than ideal mapped default control scheme (at least compared with the Oblivion joy2key profile) and when I press the menu button on my xbox pad, the game crashes. :(

    Is it possible to just completely disable this ingame mapping for Oblivion (which seems broken anyway since the menu button causes a crash) but still use the Xbox controller to access the VorpX menu + edgepeek like before?

    Also it turns out the crashing I was describing earlier is the game randomly crashing whenever I bring up the VorpX menu. This is so frustrating because the game was perfectly tweaked and buttery smooth. To make things worse is I selected in VorpX to restore to defaults and now the VorpX tweaked custom resolution is gone. How do I reapply to VorpX tweaks into the game?
