Any way of getting the old profiles, some were working great and are now missing off of the list. Really miss playing pinball fx2 in 3d.
Went through all the settings, and it worked at one point. Tested it out and it was fabulous, and made dinner, but right before it did sticky keys activated and changed a bunch of settings in the ‘Del’ menu. I wasn’t sure what was changed but I figured if I simply just delete and redownload the profile it should fix whatever was changed so I did just that.
I then went to actually play, and for whatever reason it is not working anymore. It’s not the in-game settings as physically moving the mouse works.
Anyone have this issue? I hate being so close to getting it to work and then being blue-balled.
Followed the guide here:

Snowballer (G3D)
Snowballer has a free demo at steam which this profile has been made for.
The demo lacks of FPS, the original may has more options for setting changes.
Though this unity game does look quite neat.
– Optimized for cinema modes
– Profile available at the cloud

Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings (G3D)
Something different ! Baseball with VorpX ;-)
– Optimized for Cinema Modes
– Full VR not recommended
– Profile available at the cloud

I don’t think it has anything to do with Vorpx. I’ve been using a Samsung Odyssey+ for over 3 years and very recently had an alignment issue everywhere including the WMR home. I suspect the problem is from Microsoft itself. They’re always dropping the ball or perhaps it’s done on purpose. I have never felt crosseyed before these last couple of months. I’m pretty sure it’s one of these stupid Windows updates that ruined it. Don’t ruin your eyes because you felt you spent too much money for a paper weight. Run the vrcmd.exe in steamvr, I’m pretty sure all the WMR headsets will read a misalignment. Good thing I still use my trusty Oculus CV1. I guess it’s time to just toss it in the trash. Good luck with trying to get Microsoft to lift a finger.
Check out some of the side-by-side comparisons on YouTube. It’s looking really excellent, that’s for sure. So much crisper than DLSS and only slightly more jaggies. DLSS having so little aliasing may be due to DLSS being intrinsically linked to TAA? If FSR 2.0 isn’t linked to TAA that would be a huge win for FSR 2.0 over DLSS as TAA is always a blurry detail-destroying mess.
It’ll be amazingballs if Ralf can get FSR 2.0 wedged into vorpX.
Reverb G2 (version 2) in VorpX is a great experience! I’ve just upgraded my aging Oculus CV1 after building a new PC a few months ago (GTX 3070Ti GPU… waiting list on a 3080 was too long), and the difference is pretty staggering. I’m running most of the games I’ve tried so far at ~4k desktop resolution and piping them into VorpX. The end result would be a resolution I’d visually describe as somewhat equivalent to sitting in front of a 1440p display running at 90hz… but on any size of screen you want, and in full 3D if you like. Pretty great! Also, the contrast is quite good for an LCD type panel, and there’s basically no God-rays, and certainly no screendoor effect (wow, CV1 – how did I live with you for so long?). Peripheral vision is… eh… passable. Reverb G2 has a pretty small sweet spot where it looks crystal clear in the middle, but then begins to blur and has chromatic aberration off-centre. So, you won’t want to roll your eyeballs around a lot inside the headset… better to move your head and look directly at the things you want to view. Also it’s pretty comfortable, even while I’m wearing glasses.
Overall, G2 seems like an excellent fit for VorpX. I’m really looking forward to revisiting a lot of my PC gaming catalogue with this setup!
I’ve bought vorpx today to use it with ‘The hunter: call of the wild’.
I have a HP reverb G2
– Disconnected the triple monitors to just one monitor
– Disabled Nvidia overlay
– Disabled EVGA fps overlay
If i start the game, on the monitor i see the game running with vorpx attached (vorpx message). I can move the mouse with my headset. But in WMR i see 4 white balls/dots loading. This loading is also visible on the headset. Steam VR gives me a black screen.
Running non supported games do work in cinematic mode (like valheim or hydroneer)
Is there a solution/workarround available?
That’s weird indeed. Might be worth to check whether you have an FPS limit set either in the game’s video options or maybe even globally in the nVidia control panel.
Try Future Pinball with VR version of BAM.
Im hoping that with the new Pinball FX using unreal engine we can get it to work with Vorpx. RJK¨s profile for FX2 is pretty damn good but obviously its allready been abandoned for a long time and I only play it for the tables that aren´t ported to FX3.
Not a fan of the idea to buy tables again since none of the tables carry over from FX3… But I still have bunch of tables that I don´t have in any previous FX games (mainly williams tables) and with the possibility to play them in VR with vorpx I might buy some tables again if the price is reasonable.
But if pricing of the new Indiana Jones table is any indication of future Im not optimistic at the moment.
You can disable it globally in the steam options.
Sounds as if the SteamVR desktop theater is enabled. vorpX normally deactivates it, but maybe that failed for some reason. You can disable it manually either globally in the Steam options or per game in a game’s properties window.
The Cyber Engine Tweaks part of the mod works with openxr. I changed the binding for my needs and in-game menu works well.
But the vpxCP2077 part of the mod let the game crash on launch with openxr. How can i create a log file for you of the vpxCP2077.asi and the files in the vpxCP2077 folder ?
