dborosevParticipantNot sure this is a vorpx issue, as it seems to happen on my screen also when vorpX is running, but is anyone experiencing missing cutscenes? I can hear the sound, but no video. Probably missed about 4-5 cutscenes only a few hours into the game.
dborosevParticipantRalf, great work on adding profiles! Was just wishing Kingdom Come was supported the other day. Can’t wait to try some out.
dborosevParticipantHaven’t played in a while, but it worked fine without 4K on a Vive. No framerate drops that I noticed.
dborosevParticipant(Feel free to ignore this one, its minor) Ralf, one thing I noticed is that the 3D is lost temporarily when scanning objects. Not a big deal, so if its a pain don’t worry about it, its easily ignored. Just thought I’d mention it in case you were running out of things to do. :)
Other than that, working superb.
dborosevParticipantWorking well! Finally get to play this game! Just an FYI for anyone else – there is a great FOV mod using the Frosty Mod Manager for Andromeda. In case the default FOV isn’t enough for you.
dborosevParticipantAh thanks! I didn’t realize you moved my thread, I thought it just didn’t go through the first time.
I’ll check it out!
(I’ll remember to put these in the tech support section. The reason I didn’t was that I assumed you were the main reader of that, whereas my question was directed mainly at other people.)Jan 16, 2018 at 7:00am in reply to: Far Cry 4 looks GREAT in Cinema Mode. But Too Zoomed in with Full VR. #170136
dborosevParticipantWolf: Yeah I do too. I think a lot of people just dismiss it, but they don’t really know what they’re missing out on.
Best way to play IMO.
dborosevParticipantJust to clarify, this is different in that the 3d layers flip around and change shapes, and misalign actively while you are just sitting there. Ie flipping out. So you could be standing perfectly still and the ledge would be 3d one minute and the next second the layer shifts to the left by 2 feet, then back etc etc.
Whatever the cause, just wanted to report this as its different.
Thanks.
dborosevParticipantI see, thanks for the clarification.
dborosevParticipantOk maybe I’m retarded, but some games don’t have that. (dark souls for instance). And pretty sure I’ve seen others without that too.
dborosevParticipantThis would require mapping head movement to camera movement in the game. (Not just camera rotation) I don’t think that’s possible unless the game supports those controls already?
Jan 10, 2018 at 7:41am in reply to: will vorpx be compatible with htc vive pro out of the box ? #169941
dborosevParticipantI’m not going to bother until I decide to buy a new beefy machine to power it.
dborosevParticipantAll of the recent ones work great I thought. I usually play in cinema mode 3D though, so there aren’t usually any issues and every looks amazing.
I find that even ones where the framerate isn’t high enough for true VR, still look perfect on cinema mode.
Love them all.Jan 10, 2018 at 5:15am in reply to: Far Cry 4 looks GREAT in Cinema Mode. But Too Zoomed in with Full VR. #169936
dborosevParticipantJust google far cry 4 fov. I think there is a fix.
dborosevParticipantOk I’ll check that out, thx. I just assumed DirectVR was only supported by some games and not others, so it wouldn’t work for everything.
