    no it’s 2D, but still, it’s immersive and you get nice sense of depth, just make sure you use the right FoV.

    no man’s sky engine is very weird, for me it feels more 3D than 2D with my settings above.

    hello,

    did you restart vorpx ?
    did you restart steamVR ?

    sometimes when things like this happen, a restart fixes the issue.

    i have been playing no man’s sky for like 50+ hours with vorpx, i use custom fov of 220 tho, and in immersive screen mode (this way i can see the whole ui if i need) and it’s amazing ! perfectly playable, and there is a nice sense of depth and the whole world scale feels ok ! just try it yourself and see, just remember fov to 220 is very important (i play at 2560×1440).

    those are the settings i edited :

    <Property name=”FoVOnFoot” value=”220.000000″ />
    <Property name=”FoVInShip” value=”220.000000″ />

    found in no man’s sky/binaries/settings, make sure to set the file read only or else it will reset if you go in options ingame.

    when you start a “vorpx supported” game, then when you press DEL (default key) inside a game, a vorpx window appears, there you can cycle through a few pages,on one of of those pages, there a button called DirectVR (only for DirectVR supported games), it’s a process who takes care for you of things like correct FoV and others important things for VR, you just have to click it (or press alt + L) then wait without moving mouse cursor, let the process gets the job done for you then you’ll be good to go.

    since some updates, vorpx also changes by default (for supported games but not all) ingame settings, like resolution, shadows quality, lightning quality etc) for a smoother experience, usually when that happens you have to restart the game for the new settings work, and of course that auto change can be set to OFF if you prefer change the ingames graphics yourself.

    hi,

    i was like you at first, i just experienced things little by little and now i’m comfortable with vorpx, been using it since more than 2 years i think, but i needed much more less time than this to get how this works.

    you should do just the same, you cant break things (i mean you wont break your hardware) and if vorpx is all messed up you can just do a full factory reset in vorpx trouble shooting section.

    as for tutorial video, i think you can find some “tutorial” on youtube, not official tutorials tho, just some users made videos, just google it.

    and if you have any questions, just ask here, we’ll be glad to help you ^^

    i just reinstalled and tested the game for you.

    works fine for me, steam version, htc vive, i have all 3D options on main page including G3D.

    this is very weird that it’s not working for you.

    have you checked that KingdomCome.exe is not excluded in vorpx program for some reason ? you can find it in vorpx configuration page “excluded programs”.

    So one more question do you think it matters what drive the game is on? Vorpx is installed on the C:\ drive and game is on F:\ drive. Thanks!

    i dont think it matters.

    have you tried to run vorpx as administrator ? sometimes that fixes things. keep in mind tho that some games do not work with vorpx with administrator checked, at least for me.

    hello,

    i think magnifying glass is bound to clicking mouse wheel button by default, just rebind the vorpx function inside the vorpx configuration binding section.

    we are still waiting for the profile update….. for now, yes G3D is broken, blizzard fault, more work for ralf, must be frustrating for him to work hard on a profile to find out later that it got broken by a game update….
