Yeah it sucks that they took out the GTAs but in all honesty, there are tons of good games that work with VorpX.
On my lineup I’ve got about 30 or so that I want to play. Right now I’m plugging through ‘My Time At Portia’ and Nexus: The Jupiter Incident. The first game is unplayable without VorpX but with it… I’m amazed at the quality of 3-D that comes through. I don’t need the ‘VR’, I’m good with G3D. The second one is pretty old but it works alright in Z3D, and the game is awesome so playing through it with something that makes the ships 3D like is good enough for me. Costume Quest, Dungeon Siege 2, XCOM, man I’m retired and even I don’t have enough time to play through all the stuff I want.Have you tried Colonial Marines? Man that game was GREAT in G3D.
I get a strange effect on mine, perhaps you guys can identify it. I get a different picture in one eye than the other. Once in awhile they converge and it looks like full g3d but 99% of the time one of the eyes has a still picture of the game, while the other has full motion. Is this called De-sync? Seems like it would be pretty rad if it worked correctly. I’m not fussy or anything though, if it doesn’t work for me, I have no issues refunding the game on STEAM.
I also own regular vorpx and will try that later today. The only options I’m given in the modded menu are ‘Direct VR’, Z-Adaptive and Z-Normal. Not a fan of either of those other two except in Nexus: The Jupiter Incident [which I highly recommend]. I’m not picky on the ‘VR’ end either, as long as it’s in 3-D, thats good enough for me.

I was also a HUGE fan of the luke ross GTA mod, so I’m happy to see you are covering Sandbox games. Would love to know if its possible to get PS2 – Jack & Daxter into VR or Ratchet and Clank. So far no one has covered Fortress Craft VR which is a wicked experience.
Was hoping we would get to see the Dragon Quest builder series in VR but the sequel really sucked.
I’d also be interested to know how the Rebel Galaxy games play out in VR. I also haven’t seen anyone cover ‘The Jupiter Incident’ which is a rad strategy / ship warfare game.
No one has covered ‘My Time At Portia’ which is an amazing open world experience in Vorpx.
Hey man thanks for testing out games and stuff. Here’s some content ideas:
PPSSSPP <– VR PSP. I’ve played through testing almost the entire library including some of the rom translation hacks. There are TONS of good games which translate to VR environments. I haven’t seen any YT channels covering that yet.
Dolphin VR -> Rogue Squadron, Mega Man Command Mission, Phantasy Star CARD, Paper Mario TTYD, Battallion Wars.
Wii VR – > Elebits, Xenoblade Chronicles.
I would really like to see the emulated stuff and the correct settings for the emulators, like culling codes etc etc That would save me alot of time and give your content something to ‘stand out’.
Also if you could cover the Xwing Alliance/Tie Fighter Total Conversion VR mod and Startopia, that would be helpful. Installation from Start to Finish and tweaking txt file editing etc would save alot of people time.
Holy crap, this is one time I will be happy to make an exception for Z. Do you need the original disc or a steam version. I have the original. This game is BOSS, easily my favorite pc game ever made. My god why can’t they make decent games anymore?
BUMP this thread, just found it after thinking about my brother and our BZ2 play sessions and writing a eulogy of sorts on the BZ Steam forum. Found it the first click, didn’t realize he was the one trying to get this done on the VorpX. How’s that for coincidence.
Adam and I used to play BZ2 together and he’d beat me everytime. Then we installed this one MOD and I beat him so bad he refused to play the game ever again. I think he was 7 or 8 yearsold at the time. This game held a lot of good memories for us, I would love to see it in VR… more importantly I’d like to see it to complete it for my brother. He died a few years ago at 33, he was the guy that bought me my VIVE headset.
