RalfKeymastervorpX tries to handle that already and it works for a handful of games (Skyrim for example), but Direct HMD causes a direct (pun intended) conflict with the way vorpX works, so there there might be no way to get it working with everything.
I will take another look at this when the Oculus SDK is a bit more mature in this regard. The whole thing is very, very beta ATM on the SDK side.
RalfKeymasterPlease send an e-mail to support |at| vorpx com.
RalfKeymasterYes, that is possible. To achieve that, you just have to turn down the “HT Sensitivity” value on the input page of the vorpX ingame menu to 0. This disables thd game head tracking, but leaves EdgePeek intact.

RalfKeymasterI will look into this before the next regular update.
RalfKeymasterHello,
Sorry for the inconvenience. Don’t worry, there isn’t even a failed record with your e-mail address in the purchase database, so you certainly were not charged for the failed attempts.

RalfKeymasterYou have two options to use vorpX:
A. The convenient one (works with most games)
1. Set the Rift DK2 to “Extend Desktop to HMD”
2. Use the Rift DK2 as SECONDARY monitor in Windows
3. Set the Rift DK2 to “Portrait” mode in Windows
(might be “Landscape flipped” in Windows 8)
4. Set vorpX to “Show on DK2″ display wise in the vorpX config app.B. The compatible one
1. Set the Rift DK2 to “Extend Desktop to HMD”
2. Use the Rift DK2 as PRIMARY monitor in Windows
3. Set the Rift DK2 to “Portrait” mode in Windows
(might be “Landscape flipped” in Windows 8)
4. Set vorpX to “Use system settings” display wise in the vorpX config app.It is important to choose the right setting in the vorpX config app according to your display settings in Windows. RalfKeymasterYou dont have to use the Rift as main display with vorpX. Most games work when using the secondary display setup described in the DK2 Setup Guide in the vorpX help:
1. Set the Rift DK2 to “Extend Desktop to HMD”
2. Use the Rift DK2 as SECONDARY monitor in Windows
3. Set the Rift DK2 to “Portrait” mode in Windows
(might be “Landscape flipped” in Windows 8)

RalfKeymasterPlease make sure to run the game in 1920×1080. If that does not help, you can try to use the Rift as primary display. That *might* work better.

2. Use the Rift DK2 as PRIMARY monitor in Windows

RalfKeymastervorpX does not work on the desktop, it only works with games. So what you see is just the normal behaviour.
RalfKeymasterThe answer to this question currently is a decisive maybe ;). A decision in this regard will be made when the device and SDK are available.
RalfKeymasterAccording to the game’s website it seems to be based on the Unreal engine, so you could try to make a copy of the game’s .exe and rename it to UDK.exe, which *may* work. With an emphasis on *may*. It’s worth a try, but there are no guarantees.
Even if it works, it’s not unlikely that you will see shadow artifacts etc., that would need game specific fixes. So don’t expect a glitch free experience.
RalfKeymasterThe list of supported programs is growing constantly, you can check it here: https://www.vorpx.com/supported-games/.
If your game is based on DX9-DX11 there is a pretty good chance that it will still work with vorpX despite not being on the list. There are no guarantees for unsupported games, but vorpX provides the most important VR functionality like head tracking, image-prewarp etc. for many more games than we tested so far, just stereo 3d will probably be missing in such cases.
RalfKeymasterI contacted you via e-mail.
