Will the view inside the car be adjusted or updated ? To have correct balanced projection. Now if you look around,it’s all big and bubbled. Thanks for your work on this.It doesn’t look bad walking around. Wondering if we will get the possibility of what was in gta5 with vorpx ?
Just do it like me and play the start multiple times… After that you’ll know everything inside out.
Did you encounter any more issues with garbled depth in the meantime? I checked pretty much the whole game start up until the first mission in the city plus some walking around afterwards two times today. One time in ‘Generic Headset’ mode, one time with an actual headset. Not a single hiccup depth- or otherwise. Seriously beginning to think this might have been resolved by the latest nVidia driver update yesterday, which I didn’t have installed when I made the profile originally.
I’m not using the epic version. I’m using the version on steam, but it told me to link to my epic account which I did. I still launch it from steam.
Also I can’t get it to work. Again I must stress this is the steam version, it only asked me to link to my epic account inside the game. But this game refuses to work with VorpX now when before it used to work perfectly.
What do I do to fix this issue?
Hi,
I installed WoW and Vorpx but when I start the game, it looks like a 2d screen inside my Oculus Quest 2 headset, instead of 360 VR.
How do I make it so that WoW is 360 VR and moves as I move my headset?
Thank you.
Also, what is G3D? How do I “activate” it? What is it for, and where is it located?
A tool to make it outside would be nice or a virtual keyboard inside so you can easily map the keys. Removing the headseten to see what key you are pressing on a keyboard is tedious.
Hello I have a Quest 2 headset and managed to fet vorpX to start games okay.
But I can’t understand how to change the key mappings.
I’m trying to mimic how Warhammer Space Marine works with a gamepad. ( I’m using a xbox 360 gamepad on my PC)
I like to have it something like this https://i.imgur.com/y8ursNG.png

I need a virtual keyboard inside VR or be able to do it from my PC without the headset on.
Yup, I always try my best to explain to the redditor, the wonder of playing 2d non vr games in vorpx,
this software is just mind blowing for me, there is no way i can go back to 2d games without 3d stereo effect like G3D inside giant massive screen.
Thank you so much ralf for all these good years of VR
Try launching the game through “Launch SteamVR” or the “Games” menu within VD’s main menu inside the headset (both can be found by clicking hamburger button on your left controller with VD running). Launching your game through VD’s mirrored desktop does nothing.
Hello, I am looking for 2D and 2.5D games that can be easily adjusted with Vorpx. Often these are independent games like (limbo, ori, inside, darq …). Here are 2 youtube links where we can find cool games, and I would like to play them with Vorpx !! Ori, Inside, darq is fabulous for example.
Here are the links:

Thanks !!
Well, Oculus Link currently looks terrible on my system. Virtual Desktop is crystal clear, and wireless. The latency is 30ms, so it’s good enough.
It appears the Virtual Desktop is somehow overtaking Vorpx. Because the games load, and say that Vorpx is enabled, but instead of displaying in Vorpx, the game displays on Virtual Desktop. It’s like the game is still mirroring Virtual Desktop, because the Vorpx logo appears inside the headset, instead of the Vorpx.
Regular SteamVR games work, so there is something different from how your software is accessing SteamVR versus regular games.
Is there an update you can do, so the correct output goes to the headset?
Anyone have inside knowledge if this will work out of the box with one of the existing profiles (ie. Odyssey)?
Finally got Z3D to work. It works only in Full Screen with the profile based on RE7.
Now, I’ve tried full screen before, the culprit was actually Steam, sort of. I know the vorpx troubleshooting guide mentions running the game directly, but if Steam is not open the game will refuse to start so I abandoned that approach.
When launching from Steam everything seems fine. It starts in full screen, you put on the headset, and it seems to hook OK just without Z3D. What happens though is the game switches to windowed shortly after, you just can’t see this inside the headset.
So, to get Z3D working I had to
– copy the game executable and assign a custom profile based on RE7
– launch the copied game executable directly, but have steam open at the same time
After all this you need to go to Input Settings and turn off xBox controller override (if you are using one), otherwise the controls are messed up.
FPS will still drop during cutscenes but I can live with that, this is an issue in multiple games.
WMR user here, never had to do anything other than starting vorpX, you can start it before or after the WMR Portal, should make no difference whatsoever.
The only thing is to choose SteamVR inside vorpX, with that you’re golden.
Not in my book. Freespace 1 and 2 are closer to Xwing. This is more like… ugly ass 3-D outside of the ship… inside it looks somehow unreal. I dunno. When compared with the likes of Subnautica, this game’s VR sucks balls. It looks like that cheap, flat 3-D that early games used. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it doesn’t look 3 dimensional. The cockpits are decent but XWA in VR and Rogue Squadron for Dolphin VR,set my bar extremely high. After playing that and seeing 3-D moving objects and then looking at this garbage and thinking (they had MILLIONS to work with), I’m super disappointed. Games made on the Gamecube 15 years ago work better than this pile of junk. If any of you have played Starfox for the GC in VR, you’ll know exactly what I mean. There are 3-D objects and there faux 3-D objects…this is the latter.
today i did a new profile with Z3D/G3D working. looks for The Beast Inside Z3D/G3D steph09.

i highly recommand to play this game in Z3D if you dont have an ampere card else be ready for slideshow with anything higher than 1080p and even with that res performance in g3D is abysmal.
Z3D looks decently good tho !
for fov, use unreal engine unlocker, amazing little tool which allow many tweak for ue4 games !
enjoy !
