just started playing with the beta after using the regular since october. Is there a way to get rid of the “start room” that is new? Or, have something on the left controller to dismiss it. Why? The way my setup is (star citizen) there is already too much crap on my desk with HOSAS and I only need the left hand controller to run SteamLink (new to Oculus). Having to have the RH controller to dismiss it and nothing else is less than ideal.

I stream on Twitch, and am currently playing Star Citizen in VR.

One of the things I am using for OBS Studio is a VR stabilizer filter, and though the game is running at 110 degree FOV, the area I am capturing for viewers is smaller, so it “looks” correct.

The issue I have is when I need to use menus, the game still uses full non-VR to do all the maps and inventory.

What I am asking is if there is a way for VorpX to mimic pressing a keybind, and then a different keybind when you go into and out of edge peak, it would allow OBS studio to see the press and toggle between the standard view and the full screen for menus. I tried to have it toggle with MMB, but sometimes one or the other would not register, and then the scenes are seen backwards, and why I am asking for the ability to have VorpX output two different keybinds.

I am playing and streaming Star Citizen in VR, has been working well.

My question is with all the warning windows that pop up the press E button, then press Ctrl Alt Shift to make all the warnings go away.

Is there a way to basically be like, “I know it is, stop showing it every time” like a 15 day cool down or something?

VorpX has been running awesome, but Star Citizen sometimes needs to be restarted, and game capture shows those warnings plastered front and center as the game starts up, locks out of any control, because if I have the headset on I cant see one warning, if I dont have the headset, nothing works because the other is locking it out, and people keep asking if VorpX is worth getting if they keep showing the warnings all the time that I cant see.

Some games like Star Citizen that support TrackIR have a smoothing filter that you cannot disable it seems. Not 100% sure if it’s just the delay between OpenTrack and the game, but either way I think it would be useful to have some kind of latency compensation.

Not sure exactly how the implementation would work, but I assume the Full VR virtual screen could have some movement applied to it in attempt to counteract the smoothing filter a game has.

Thx for the update Ralf !

I think this game will get more players once all its potential rolls out and patches improve mechanics. They have done a very bad job detailling all the possibilities and I still find new basic mechanics after 40 hours of play.

Being a huge space sci-fi fan, I first hated the game for not having the atmosheric transition quality star citizen offers but the storyline, looting and crafting options are so diverse I am now addicted to it.

Finished main quest yesterday, if everything goes well, I’ll be piloting my new ( spoiler ) ship in VR.

    Cheers !

First, will Vorpx trigger the anti-cheat on Star Citizen? It has the same anti-cheat as Tarkov, which ran if I was in windowed mode. Second, this is probably a long shot here, can I pull the eye tracking from my Varjo Aero into Star Citizen?

From my understanding, since Star Citizen has EAC, VorpX is blocked from being used with the game in the fullest possible sense.

I am to understand that in order for VorpX to be whitelisted for the game, a .dll needs to be created by the VorpX developer.

I mean…. ok. When and If? Any plans?

I’ll be sure to purchase VorpX if this ever happens. But at this point, I’m a bit concerned something like this can’t be put to rest. What, if any, major issues the developer of VorpX has in doing the above in order to help get VorpX whitelisted for Star Citizen?

Since Star Citizen has got EAC some time ago, it’s no longer possible to use a profile with it. In this regard: why can’t we have profiles without hooking into the game, but displaying the game in a game specific desktop view (best with only capturing game window and not whole desktop)?

Anyway, back to topic: I still like to play SC in VR, but am using Desktop Viewer (or Virtual Desktop tbh). I have a HP Reverb, so I would really appreciate to be able to use OpenXR, because it seems to be more performant than using Steam VR/ OpenVR. BUT: then I am loosing headtracking (via TrackIR), cause I still need OpenTrack to do that, so currently still am using Steam VR.

As far as I understood VorpX does have a TrackIR emulation. But this is only usable if VorpX detects the game being able to use it, which it cannot when using Desktop Viewer (hence the first paragraph). Would it be possible to enable this TrackIR emulation in Desktop Viewer?

    I got this,…
