I love the 4×4 grid for VR Hotkeys which are enabled with looking… why not expand it based on user needs? say if the user wants a 6×10 grid, let them, and allow modifiers (shift/alt/Ctrl)…

    Please… and thank you.

Actually, I just found out about the 4×4 virtual hot keys in vorpX… super useful, so that is 16 additional commands with your eyes, which is pretty cool…

Could you have, say, two of those interfaces encompassing more keyboard functions?

I am trying to create a new user profile.

I copied the profile to create a new one.
    And started the game.
I have opened the shader edit screen with the Ctrl + end keys.
I found the shader number associated with the shadow.
After saving the profile, quit the game.

I noticed that PS and VS are created in the game directory.

I want to create a new user profile after deleting the shader associated with the shadow.
    I want to know how.
I’am sorry for my bad english

vorpX does has a controller emulation feature to achieve a similar “vr controllers” effect, keys can be rebinded to fit any game, not sure if that’s what you’re looking for but it’s the closest you will get with vorpX

I did run out of easy to reach hotkeys a while ago, but I’ll see what can be done. No promises though.

I can’t remember for sure, but I think I saw that and it was on by default. Could be wrong. I’ll double check though, thx. For the most part, the game traps it fairly well, but sometimes in the map or using certain keys it seems to escape occasionally.
FOV mod works well too. Now I just need to quit my current life so I have time to take on this new life.

As mentioned here, i decided to fix games on request only in the future. Therefore i have added a game requester to my website.

I own most retail games from before around 2011 and a large number of steam games from before 2019 which i can possibly fix for Vorpx.

    The requester works as followed:

    – Example: Your game is Called “Far Cry: Primal”
    – If you are not shure of the spelling, enter “Far Cry”
    – This will list any Far Cry Game that i can fix at the moment
    – Make shure your game hasnt been fixed already (inoff.VorpX game list)
    – After you find the proper game name, enter it into the form and make your request.
    – On the same page you can do a research on current requests as well as games fixing status and other informations

If you do NOT find your game you have the option to send a vaild, unused Steam-Key to the Email Adress below the form.(I suggest contacting me via email before sending any keys).

Please note, i am not a member of the VorpX staff and i do not get payed for this neither. Fixing a game can fail for many reasons, for example see this list. Keys can not be returned or refunded. Windows10 only games cant be fixed at the moment. (oct 2019).

Normally it should be no problem to change WASD to cursor keys. Can‘t really imagine why that wouldn‘t work for you, but I‘ll check next week whether there maybe is a bug.

if you haven‘t done that already, please try without your external keyboard mapping program. Not unlikely that it causes a conflict with the vorpX mapper.

Mappings are game specific and saved into the profile.

You should be able to remap the stick to your liking by clicking the „Remap Bindings“ button at the bottom of the controller settings page. If that doesn’t work for some reason, you could alternatively change the movement keys back to WASD in the game‘s options menu. Per default the left stick is configured to emulate WASD.

With the left stick strafe/turn option you can choose whether left/right stick movement is translated to AD-keys (strafe) or left/right mouse movement (turn).

I learned this week how to improve weapon depth, so both of these profiles have been updated to greater realism with: proper weapon 3D, larger world scale, and grittier colors and lighting. World at War now has working 3D shadows and particle effects.

Ironsights look more convincing and reloading is funner to watch. Give them a try. Profiles are now tuned for Rift FullVR and intended to be used with Image Zoom of 0.83, so check that your previous local save does not overwrite this new value. Setups are the same as listed above.

*RO2 has minor bug with class selection screen with scaled HUD. Use EdgePeek to view menu properly
*Optional hide HUD hotkeys for World at War – add two lines to config.cfg in C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles\(name)..

    bind F1 “cg_draw2D 0”
    bind F2 “cg_draw2D 1”

World at War now has a multiplayer profile as well:

Call of Duty: World at War MP (G3D)

G3D FullVR Multiplayer best for Rift
    – set FOV to max 80 in config_mp.cfg found in
    C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles\(name):

    seta cg_fov “80”

    – use a 16:9 resolution (2560×1440)
    – max graphics with shadows on

*HUD scaling affects sniper scopes, adjust if desired.
*Has some pop-in top and bottom from moderate FOV Enhancement

Grab all these new from the cloud. Enjoy.

Very nice relaxing puzzle game in cinema mode.
Pushed the 3d up because the game benefits from it.

If you don’t have a controller, you can use the keyboard controls WASD or arrow keys to move and space/e to interact.
Also press esc to enter map.
The game does not make it clear that exiting to map is part of the game.

    Profile in game cloud.

Call of Juarez: The Cartel (G3D)

Not sure why all the hate for this rendition of Juarez. I had a good time. It’s hard to find these days (now delisted from steam storefront), but you can still buy steam keys from newegg/g2a for pretty cheap. It took a lot of shader tweaking for G3D, but is now another fun action shooter for vorpX.

    – FOV setup as directed by PCGamingWiki:

    Edit default_levels.xml
    Go to <path-to-game>\MD
Open Data0.pak with 7-Zip or similar.
In it go to Skills and extract a file default_levels.xml
Go to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Call of Juarez – The Cartel\out
In this folder create a folder Data.
In folder Data that you’ve just created, create another folder, named Skills.
Now move default_levels.xml that you’ve extracted to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Call of Juarez – The Cartel\out\Data\Skills
    Open default_levels.xml in Notepad.
    Change <prop n=”CameraDefaultFOV” v=”50.0″/> to v=”80.0″ .

a value of v=”80.0″ works best for this profile (any higher breaks recoil).

    – use a 16:9 resolution (2560×1440)

*Adjust vorpX height modifier for preferred aiming
*FullVR best for Rift, Cinema mode best for Pimax8K
    *Z3D also works

Profile now on the cloud. Hopefully somebody enjoys it :) .

I use an Xbox Controller to play games in VorpX.

I have become adept at using edge peek to play games in G3D and briefly flip to edge peek to look at the edges of the game HUD or map screen, inventory screen etc.

One thing that would be incredibly useful would be the ability to flip to Z3D where performance drops too low and then switch back to G3D.

I have a feeling it may be possible to do this via VR Hotkeys? However, I have never worked out how to do this with an Xbox controller. In fact, I don’t really understand how VR hotkey function works. Could someone explain it to me?

Is it possible to bind Z3D/G3D to a controller stick or button or VR Hotkey?

If not, would it be possible to have a setting to bind the 3D reconstruction function in the same way that Edge Peek, VorpX menu currently can?

Unfortunately the open beta for the new Modern Warfare this week is PS4 only. So I spent some time revisiting MW2 instead and have configured some new vorpX profiles for it.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (G3D)

Another visual spectacle campaign looking good in G3D when you turn the shadows off. I only wish the gun models had better depth, but this is how all the call of duty games are sadly. Still enjoyable.

One minor glitch remains with the heartbeat sensor being off center, which could not be fixed without breaking other world props.

Multiplayer FOV has a maximum of 90 and requires an officially approved Changer by AgentRev, so I’ve made two separate profiles for SP and MP using two different Changers. Fortunately each use their own exe so you can keep both profiles active at once.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 SP

    **Requires CoD-SCZ-FoV-Changer

    – use SCZ FoV Changer to set 105 and launch the game
    – use a 16:9 resolution (2560×1440)
    – turn Shadows OFF in game

*Optional hide HUD hotkeys – add two lines to config.cfg in players folder of game directory:

    bind F1 “cg_draw2D 0”
    bind F2 “cg_draw2D 1”

*Fullscreen cinema mode optimized for Pimax8k
    *fullVR/Immersive modes optimized for Rift

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 MP

    **Requires AgentRev MW2 FoV Changer

    – use AgentRev FoV Changer to set 90 and launch the game
    – use a 16:9 resolution (2560×1440)
    – turn Shadows OFF in game

    *FullVR mode optimized for Rift
*Fullscreen cinema mode optimized for Pimax8k with pitool small fov. If edge culling too noticable, reduce vorpX FOV Enhancement in delete menu

You can find these now on the vorpX cloud. Enjoy. A couple more COD MP coming soon.

    Twin Sector (G3D/Z3D)

For lack of a suitable parser this profile is a compromise where a few unimportant objects remain at wrong depth, though you can use Z3D which may look even better then Geometry mode.

    – Full Screen required with custom resolutions
    – Cinema mode recommendend
    — because using certain keys can break use of mouse
    – Profile available at the cloud
