Just wondering if eta for this is within a month from now. I’m sitting on this for geometry, but will start mp on Z3D otherwise.

I’ve tried using the new Frostbite profiles for geometry in campaign, but they don’t seem to work. A bit more game specific with Frostbite I’m guessing.

And if not difficult, would be cool to see some G3D added to BF1 and SWBF1 later down the line. Keepin Ralf busy 😎. Cheers.

Oh, this game uses Easy Anti Cheat which block vorpX. Should have guessed. You’d have to find a way to bypass EAC, but not recommended for a multiplayer game. Sorry guys.

Otherwise, Titanfall 2 profile would probably be the best bet.

I might be wrong, but pretty sure I saw FOV slider in the game settings while testing a campaign level. I’ll admit I didn’t try to change it, so maybe it has no effect for singleplayer.

I’m on a new graphics card and drivers and still get the sporadic artifacts (some maps not as bad as others), but it looks good otherwise and I am still enjoying my time playing.

The video claims to have G3D working with a copied Last Light profile which is cool. I can’t try for myself until tomorrow. I’m excited though, this game looks to be a visual stunner.

Make sure to set the game in dx11 mode, not 12.

+1 Portal 2 was one of the very first games I played in vorpX.

There’s a rumor I’m inclined to believe that the coming Valve hmd will launch with Portal VR. I imagine it will be mild in comparison, but hope they’ve come up with some new ideas and mechanics. Perhaps it will focus more on coop, or switching between.

Assuming it’s running on Source engine, you could try the Titanfall profiles.

Where is it, on origin? Maybe I’ll check it out. Kinda got my eye on the new Metro this weekend though.

First thing you could try is turn off Positional Tracking in the vorpX delete key menu. This can sometimes cause camera stutter.

For use with steamVR, I believe you still need Oculus home running to use the rift, so make sure you didn’t stop that service. You could try manually starting steamVR first, by clicking the VR button top right of steam, to see if it’s setup properly to begin with.

Brief testing found you must disable the built in ENBoost to avoid d3d9.dll conflict. This is easy: run Enderal Launcher, open Settings, Optimization tab, click ENBoost button so it is no longer blue, save settings. This basically just removes the d3d9.dll.

Now the game should run in vorpX with working directVR. It might seem to hang during opening cutscenes, but should respond again once loaded in game. Save often, you never know when the game could crash.

If you get any camera stutter, disable Positional tracking in the vorpX menu Direct VR page.

I’m not the best to answer, but my experience with SLI years ago (pre vr) showed it generally caused more trouble than good. Better to have a single strong card imo.

I know there are hopes that SLI can be used to render each eye individually, but that is not how it works.

Cinema mode shouldn’t render any different than other modes.

Ralf is generally quite responsive to posts where he can help. It’s been unlike him to not post anything these past few days. Hopefully he is well.

I use vorpX daily, but not with controllers so I can’t be much help. Your situation sounds a bit unusual though, hopefully there’s a workaround.

There’s a couple user profiles on the cloud you could try (not the older dx9 one), or there are other official Unreal 4 profiles you could try: Hellblade, Conan, Edith Finch, Abzu…

Not often, but sometimes a game’s anti-aliasing setting and resolution aspect ratio can affect 3D, so try changing through those. Exclusive fullscreen usually works best, but try window/boarderless as well.

I don’t have AC7, but it looks like there are a few user profiles on the vorpX cloud you can try. One of them has a description link to reddit that might be what you’re looking for.

They mention something about disabling AC7’s default mouse settings for controller emulation headtracking.

Sign into the cloud through the vorpX Config app (right click in system tray) under Cloud Profiles. Search Ace Combat in the top field, select a profile and click Import profile.
