Must be something getting in the way on your machine. Steam version works fine, checked 2 minutes ago with vorpX 25.1.5.

My apologies. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game files but I just did it again and now out of the blue everything is working fine again.

Amazing profile, some of the best 3D I’ve seen yet.

    Appreciate your work, Ralf.

Florian-83, hezymoe and myself all can not run the Steam version of Titanfall 2 anymore with VorpX.

It previously ran very well with this exact same setup. Nothing on my end changed. I’ve since tried everything, including a new Windows installation. There’s nothing running in the background that should interfere.

Game runs just fine as long as I disable VorpX.

It’s frustrating to have three different users all with the same problem only to be told there’s nothing wrong because the origin copy Ralph owns runs just fine. I’d really like to be able to play this game again.

Titanfall 2 is also now crashing immediately for me too when trying to run it with vorpx. Runs fine without vorpx. Something changed.

F.E.A.R. and Titanfall 2 were both great back in the day, but I’m not sure how you’re defining “old school shooting games,” exactly.

That’s sad. I remember it working well years ago. Any chance for a fix?

No response to this thread? OP’s question asking if there will be any follow up releases seems like a reasonable one. Can we get an answer?

“Inside” is an amazing side scrolling game that is supposed to work well in 3D with Vorpx though I haven’t yet tried it as I beat the game before a profile was released.

My understanding–someone correct me if I’m wrong–is that Microsoft, being Microsoft, locks up the actual contents of the games you “buy” from them. So it is difficult if not impossible to mod games from the Microsoft Store, and that includes using Vorpx with them.

For instance, I just bought Deep Rock Galactic from the MS store, and it won’t work with vorpx.

The lesson here is: Don’t buy games from the Microsoft Store, because you won’t really own the contents you paid for. MS will still keep those contents under lock and key.

Yes, I now Game Pass is more of a rental service, but the same still applies.

I thought there wasn’t a working profile for this?

I really want to try this profile too but I can’t get it to hook either.

Yes, that is what he means.

I’ve noticed that with some games–and Mass Effect LE is one–if HDR is enabled, the image quality will be terrible with Vorpx. Mass Effect LE may automatically enable HDR so you have to go into the menu and turn it off. Since no existing VR headsets have HDR screens, it’s a useless feature to enable anyway. PSVR 2 will be the first HDR VR HMD when it is released.

Responding again to this thread, because the game has been updated and I can now change the res either through the menu or better still, through the registry. worth playing for sure, especially for free!

Can’t help with actually making the profile as I’ve no experience, but I have my fingers crossed for you here as I’d like to play this with vorpx too. Anyone out there with expertise want to lend a hand? Good luck to you Du1g0 either way!

I have a profile in the cloud guys but it’s a work in progress

If you don’t want positional tracking then it works flawlessly…. Apart from the fog rendering in the right eye only….lol

    But I’m working on it

I look forward to checking out your profile! Don’t care about positional tracking as I mostly play on a virtual screen anyway.
