    This is a bit confusing

    http://www.tweakguides.com/STALKER_9.html

r2 – Forces STALKER to start with Full Dynamic Lighting DX9 Renderer.
-r2a – Forces STALKER to start with Objects Dynamic Lighting DX9 Renderer.
-r4xx – Forces STALKER to start with Static Lighting DX8 Renderer.

    my user.ltx says: renderer_r1.
I can only assume this is the DX11 setting.

EDIT: Anyhow -r2a worked best for me

Well i got most older games anyway, but for the future GOG could be a source to extend a physical collection. One thing i was wondering they offer many old games like Kyrandia or Lands of Lore 1 for example which are DOS games, requiring Windows 7 and above. Will they run in some kind of inhouse DOS-Emulator or something ? I doubt they have reprogrammed those games for Windows.

Thanks Guys, are there any other sites that work just like GOG you would recommend ?

Thanks Ralf, will the install files still work whenever their servers go offline, meaning is there an online connection required after an install for verification or something ?

If i a was the Developer of this software i would think twice before answering to such a relatively unfriendly posting. Perhaps Ralf is ill or has taken some free time after months of hard programming. Have you thought of this ?

In my eyes its always good reporting any issues (not everyone is doing that) , but “complaining” will probably not make the software better neither inspire the programmer to work overhours. No software is perfect.

    DGVOODOO2 UPDATE

I have just tested an extra built (for us!) were changes have been made compatible / redone, so we can expect the next release ( 2.6 ) to work as usual.
Watch out for WIP’s from after today they should contain all the changes already as well as shader model 3.0 support.
    ( For VorpX , WIP57 from feb8 2019 is broken ! )

    Important News on DGVoodoo2

With the newest upcoming release 2.6 games with a VorpX profile will probably not work anymore because of some changes that affect the shader settings.

So if you have created / downloaded a profile from an earlier wrapper version you must use the older wrapper for that

    DOWNLOAD older Wrapper versions HERE

you will probably need versions 2.55.1 – 2.55.4

Why not using 3D-Vision ? I am not shure if there are any hacks that you can use 3D-Vision with projectors, but i heard of some guys using it with large TV Displays.

Your hook hook brought me to the idea to let the cable slide through a ring at the end of a rubber band thats mounted on the side of the desk now.The rubber band keeps the cable off the ground (so far).

No, not really. Something i wonder about is how you guys keep that cable away from the (office) chair. While not in use my HMD is placed right next to the monitor on the table, but the cable which is hanging always down to the floor tends to slide into my direction, so i keep accidentally rolling over it which is shurely not good..
