RalfKeymasterHi Helvie,
please send a mail to support |at| vorpx com describing your issue if you haven’t done so already. Maybe you received a faulty key.
RalfKeymasterRemapping of the middle mouse button will be possible in the next update. Actually it isn’t really hardcoded in a strict sense already, so the re-mapping option is easy to add.
RalfKeymasterFSX is a slow game, and rendering everything twice makes it even slower. Even a fast Core i7 runs usually below 60fps in Geometry 3D mode in FSX.
To switch 3D modes, hit [DEL] to open the menu. The menu option is called “3D Reconstruction”. Be aware that the Z-Buffer 3D doesn’t look as natural as the Geometry 3D mode, the price for being twice as fast.
Hope that helps.

RalfKeymasterFor gamepad input (when the internal gamepad emulation is used) this will be included in the next version. Doing it for mouse input might not be possible, but I’ll think about it.
RalfKeymaster>> which the other drivers don’t have and is ideal for games like Deus Ex
>> Human Revolution which uses a lot more keysThat’s exactly what it is meant for :)
You can enter your own descriptions, of course. Don’t know what the bug is yet, but most likely it’s something incredibly stupid. Happens sometimes…
RalfKeymasterNormally you should be able to do this directly in the in-game menu (VR-Keys Page) by clicking on some buttons and then pressing a key. For some reason this doesn’t work in the current build though…
Last minute bug. It worked fine for months, will be fixed soon.
RalfKeymasterLet’s not start to argue about this. As already said a shader fix system is in place, and used for some things, obviuosly not for Skyrim shadows (so far).
These mods fix things in games that a company like nVidia thinks are OK. That might tell you something. ;)
RalfKeymasterSame answer as always to this question :) : I’ll look into it, but no promises.
RalfKeymasterPortal 2 will be looked into. One of those cases that aren’t reliably reproducible, unfortunately.
RalfKeymasterThe only places where any asymmetrical distortion is applied to the image are the ‘Smart’ AR-Correction and the 2D-FOV-Enhancement. I’ll check whether there might be cases where one of these is applied although it is not supposed to.
Sorry for not having something more specific for your problem at the moment.
RalfKeymasterThose mods aren’t meant for vorpX, so you shouldn’t be too surprised. Actually I’m surprised that they do anything at all. As far as I know, they are specifically for nVidia 3DVision.
RalfKeymasterThe default/recommended settings.
RalfKeymasterPlease no support requests here, use the General forum for these. Thanks.
To answer your question: Please make sure that no d3d9.dll exists in your Skyrim folder (for example from an ENB series mod). If you verified that and it still doesn’t work, you could try to create a vorpX desktop shortcut to TESV.exe in your Skyrim folder (right click the vorpX tray icon, choose “Create Desktop Shortcut”, browse to your Skyrim Folder).
RalfKeymasterDid you set Skyrims FOV to the recommended 100 via the console? You might also want to experiment with this value a little bit.
‘Smart’ AR-Correction is the only AR-mode that introduces top/bottom distortion. Maybe you have enabled the 2D-FOV-Enhancement, which also introduces distortion and should only be used as a last resort when no other FOV-Enhancement option is available.
RalfKeymasterSome of those issues are inevitable. Larger ones (Skybox) will be looked into. A subsystem for handling such shader specific issues is in place. Please remember that this vorpX beta, more game specific fixes will be added over time.
Shadows might stay disabled. Shadows in modern games are an issue in every 3d injection driver.
See the “How to get the most out of vorpX” guide for the ‘fisheye warping’, it’s explitely mentioned there. This is a side effect of the ‘Smart’ Aspect Ratio Handling. Just choose another AR-Mode.
