Topic: Mouse doesnt work
I have searched for a while now. (About 2 days) No one that i have found has the exact problem. They start out but end wtih that their mouse is stuck or something.
Mine is that i cant click on things. Everything else is fine. I can run Arma 3 (As exampel) in “show on desktop” through VorpX but when i launch it throught the oculus i cant click on things with the cursor. Dont know if its the resoulutinon that is fakeing the buttons but if i press outside it will tab me out of the game. So it cant be that.
The only thing i can do while in a game is press the left or right keys and most games doesnt work great with that.
English is not my native langued sorry for any misspellings
Hello ralf,
do you think you could make it so that when you crouch IRL it will send a keystroke to the game while at the same time it won’t affect the camera offset height.
this will make crouching actually usable in a full standing VR setup.
Thanks
Topic: Ummm wow
So in an act of desperation I bought this against my better judgement (which was scream NO DON’T Do IT)… This is not a beta product and you shouldn’t be charging for it. I will tell you why. And yes I am a bit hostile because if I pay for software I don’t expect these types of serious issues to happen.
A: Skyrim (which I bought it for in the first place) is very narrow and I can’t figure out how to get it in full view. Everything is setup properly but no go.
B: your controller overtakes the standard controls for skyrim AND WINDOWS!!!!!???? Were you a hacker who decided to go legit with this? I click on a file directory and it opens the entire directory all the sub folders like the days of win95.
I try to open my browser it will only open in safe mode. Your program should never interfere with windows base operations. When I shut it all down it still does keeps messing with my keyboard and mouse. I totally would understand if you weren’t charging for it. BUT you are. So you get dissatisfied customers…
C: The games I own on the games supported list that are suppose to work don’t even launch. Like fallout 3 (Vanilla) Metro last light and Shadows of Mordor (though I am not sure about that last one, I just wanted to see if it would run).
This seems a bit like a con but Skyrim at least fires up… However it is totally unplayable due to your controller hijack. But it does actually run. Which is more than I can say for the 20 different ways I attempted to get it to run with a perception setup…
And before there is a a ton of “BUT you can setup your keys” how bout if you actually label them in your menu clearly, instead of boxes with the keys and the controller buttons and NO WORDS!!! Do you expect me to use the force?.. I am a Jedi but reading someones mind months after the fact is the work of the Sith, probably Darth Plagus the wise could attempt it. Plus with the screen all scrunched up I can barely read your menus without eye bleed.
Things that would make this a viable purchase are it running the games on the supported game list (seeing as how that is a promise) and that they run in full view with no controller hijack. And it not acting like a virus….
Other than that it is pretty cool
As title, pressing del key doesn’t show the vorpx config menu in game.
Game is fsx (non-steam), os windows 7 64bit, latest vorpx version.
Other vorpx keys function ok such as middle mouse button for edgepeek.
In other games i.e. arma, delete key shows the vorpx config menu.
The game didn’t appear to be in 3d (judging by the look of the cockpit).
Any ideas?
Topic: Steam Keys for Ralf
So I was wondering if it was possible to gift you steam keys to aid you in development. I understand full well that gifting you keys does not guarantee any future compatibility with said but couldn’t hurt a game that would otherwise not be looked at because you did not own it.
If you find this favorable do we send the keys directly through Steam or would you prefer to send keys to the support email with a specific title like “Free Steam Key.”

Ok, so i only managed to find one other post relevant to mass effect 3 and it is fairly outdated at this point. When playing ME3 I am able to use head tracking and click the mouse wheel to zoom out. But, the Vorpx menu does not show up and I cannot see my mouse cursor and none of the keys work. So, I cannot actually get past the menu of the game. Now the game is supported by Vorpx, and I have seen videos of people playing it so i am a little confused. Further research showed that to effectively play ME1, one had to go into the config and ‘enable hardware cursor’, otherwise there would be no cursor or Vorpx menu. But, ME3 has no such option in the config files, so I am somewhat lost. Any advice ?
