    If the FOV still isn’t 100% correct after applying the 120°, you can either try different values or (faster) compensate for the rest by using the Image Zoom function in the vorpX ingame menu (shortcut [SHIFT][MOUSEWHEEL]);

The HUD can be scaled on the image page of the vorpX ingame menu.

You can disable the framecap by disabling the “FluidSync” option on the display page of the vorpX ingame menu. Unless you can get steady 90fps that’s not a good idea though. It will cause judder for anything below rock steady 90fps.

    First please restart SteamVR.

If that does not help: If the desktop viewer works, but games do not, it’s quite likely there is some conflict with another program on your PC that also hooks into games. Most likely candidates are: virus scanners, GPU/CPU utlilities, video streaming apps and generelly everything that can display notifications in games.

Please try to disable everything that would not be running after a fresh Windows install.

Please do not use vorpX and any other program that may also hook into games at the same time. I would highly recommend to start games from your normal Windows desktop. Adding GTA5.exe to the excluded games list is not a good idea, I’m surprised it’s working at all after doing that.

Never heard of that issue before, sorry. Please check whether the keyboard works normally otherwise. You can change hotkeys in the config app. I’m not sure whether that makes sense for your issue, but maybe it’s worth a try.

You can make copies of existing profiles and apply other programs to those copies. That usually only works for games based on the same graphics engine though. It’s not very likely that it will work for your game.

Please give your everyday user admin rights for the installation. Icons and other vital files are copied to your admin user’s user dir otherwise.

Compensate for the rest by zooming out a little bit more with the vorpX Image Zoom. vorpX ingame menu or SHIFT MOUSEWHEEL.

Flickering usually occurs on the Vive when the framerate falls below 45fps. OpenVR is more picky in this regard than Oculus. 45fps are the minimum that you need to achieve in almost all cases on Vive.

You need to enable SteamVR. vorpX only works when SteamVR is running. If it already is running, please try to restart it.

In general please check the Essential Hints Guide in the help. It’s more than worth your time and among other things explains how to deal with FOV (varies from game to game).

In regard to Alien Isolation please check this thread: https://www.vorpx.com/forums/topic/alien-isolation-with-oculus-cv1/

The best resolutions for vorpX are 5:4/4:3 resolutions. 1280×1024 or 1600×1200, depending on how well a game performs.

Image Zoom is a function of vorpX. You can find on the image page of the vorpX ingame menu.

Please check the Essential Game Hints Guide in the help for this and other important infos that help you get things going.

FOV can be changed with an ini tweak: http://www.pcinvasion.com/how-to-increase-the-fov-in-alien-isolation-and-remove-intros

The best resolutions for vorpX are 5:4/4:3 resolutions. 1280×1024 or 1600×1200 if a game runs fast enough with that.

Decoupling head movement from walking is only possible for a few rare esceptions like Arma III where the engine itself allows this. Most other games are just not made for that.

You can fake this to a certain degree with the Virtual Cinema Mode (Ambience or “None” scene) and the screen moved very close towards you. That give you an immersive view of the scene and some freedom to look around, but it’s not really the same as decoupled head movement.

No key request from you anywhere (provided you used your dead… mail address). Please use the contact form from the support menu above and I’ll process your request manually.

Scratch that. Your request went to the spam folder here. I’ll send your key shortly.

Did you follow the instructions in the license dialog and sent the request code that is displayed there?

Normally it should only take a few minutes after doing that. Please make sure to use the same mail address for the key request that you used for the purchase.

If you did that, please also check your spam folder.
