Didn’t want to say anything bc idk about the pc version but if you can’t get it to work on vorpX you can always play the PSX game emulated…
In any case, it’s also good for any other PSX game. Never tried tho
MinabeParticipantAFAIK Patreon is more work not only bc he’d need to actually make one and keep it updated, but bc of how taxes work (depending on your country ofc, not sure where Ralf is from), also, Patreon would just be leeching from both Ralf and the vorpX community.
Seems like a bad idea from the start

With this i think i’ll give it another try to the Halo franchise, as it has one of the biggest “in your face” guns of any game i’ve tried which turned me off from playing it.
MinabeParticipantThe problem with the game is that it’s really demanding on the cpu, which is why you practically get the same performance with a GTX 1080.
Grass quality in particular has the largest impact on performance of any setting, as described in detail in here:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/grand-theft-auto-v-pc-graphics-and-performance-guide/MinabeParticipantYou probably were thinking ahead when creating the modes Ralf, nice one!
MinabeParticipantThis, found the recent feature not that long ago but was dissapointed it only let “up”. Great to find this topic so i don’t need to make one.
MinabeParticipantObsolete Nvidia 3D drivers are obsolete for a reason and they were never used for vorpX AFAIK. Not sure about the current vorpX version but if you can download an old cloud profile it should work unless vorpX has changed something.
At the very least, i got to play WotLK in VR using vorpX (around 5 versions ago in a pserver) and it worked great, better than current official WoW as the way FoV works was changed by the Pandaria expansion.
MinabeParticipantStadia version FTW
MinabeParticipantWMR user here, never had to do anything other than starting vorpX, you can start it before or after the WMR Portal, should make no difference whatsoever.
The only thing is to choose SteamVR inside vorpX, with that you’re golden.
MinabeParticipantI had already posted a macro in order to not have to hold the right button, it’s a toggle macro (use once to get headtracking, another to get the mouse back), a quick search turned it up:
/RUN IF ISMOUSELOOKING() THEN MOUSELOOKSTOP() SETBINDING(“BUTTON1″,”CAMERAORSELECTORMOVE”) SETBINDING(“BUTTON2″,”TURNORACTION”) ELSE MOUSELOOKSTART() SETBINDING(“BUTTON1″,”STRAFELEFT”) SETBINDING(“BUTTON2″,”STRAFERIGHT”) END
Used to work last time i used it.

Is there a better way? #196782MinabeParticipantVirt-A-Mate should be a popular enough program to be relevant, although it just might be the only one to do it in such a big scale (e.g. you can make yourself a giant, create fairies, etc). Though offsetting IPD sounds like a bad idea from the get go.
MinabeParticipantYou can try the alternative hooking method
MinabeParticipantAlternate hookin methods are for when vorpX won’t hook to a game. If the option “Enable head tracking” in vorpX configuration is checked but there’s no head tracking try to reset the game’s profile to default, other than that i don’t know what could be the problem as i’ve never had such an issue.
MinabeParticipantWhat does having a “FULL HD” (just a marketting gimmick) monitor has to do with the resolution while using an HMD?
On PC you tweak the settings on a game in order to get an acceptable framerate/graphics, basically a compromise, there’s no universal rule bc the performance of your PC is limited by your hardware, which nowadays there’s myriads to choose from and every configuration will vary.
You can either get good enough graphics at 60/90 fps stable or great glitchy graphics bc your PC can barely maintain 60 fps once you actually start playing.
