steph12ParticipantI found a way to get this working for me. I have the standard version of the game (not Steam version) I had to add the game to Steam as non-Steam game, run steam VR, start the game up which loads the launcher, logged in and VorpX hooked it this way. Every other way it would not hook the game. Hope this helps.
z3d or g3d working ?
steph12Participantyou cant delete official profiles.
but you can rename resident evil exe to something different and create a custom profile or even using a cloud re7 profile from various users just make sure to add your renamed re7.exe to that imported cloud profile.
ralf also shared an old re7 profile working better for some people, look here for that profile
Newest version fataly glitches Resident Evil 7 – unplayable!
steph12Participanthello,
wow works, be sure to select legagy directX 11, sometimes you also have to run the game in windowed mode to get everything works correctly (windowed full screen mode is fine i believe or regular windowed mode).
you will have G3D working, but you can tweak setings to your liking.
you also can have fov mod if you make some wow macros, that way you can play in first person view !
look here for fov macros
been a while since i played the game, but vorpx should work both with retail version and classic version as well (it was working fine for me for classic version months ago maybe it’s still the case).
and i dont know why it would not work with rift s.
steph12Participantouter wilds, please!
outer wilds has a VR mod !! try it !
steph12Participantright click on vorpx icon in systemtray -> create desktop shortcut -> select game exe -> open.

steph12Participantlooks op is missing vorpx whole point.
steph12Participantto the op, you wont have graphics quality just like you have on regular screen, the purpose of Vorpx is IMMERSION.
even on my old hardware gtx 1080, 5820k and htc vive, i had a lot of fun using vorpx, obviously, some fullVR demanding games had low performance in G3D example is dishonor 1 but Vorpx motion smoothing works quiet well, so i had a blast.
now i upgraded to valve index and more recent hardware and i’m stunned by the graphics quality while using vorpx, atm i’m playing borderlands 3 and it looks real good and i’m using 1920*1440 res and ultra settings in fullVr with fov 125 (with unreal engine unlocker which i highly recommand for the UE4 supported games).
the most important thing for vorpx is how powerful your computer is, the better it is the better your vorpx experience will be.
and vorpx is light years ahead of any others 3D software including that reshade 3Ddepth, because of headtracking, directVR, full VR, G3D, Z3D, flexibility of the software, the ability to create custom users profiles for new games (when it works) in a easy way, highly tweakable settings for all modes (fullVR, cinematic mode, immersive mod).
steph12Participantff 14 a realm reborn would be an amazing addition to VorpX !
steph12Participantwow nice one !
thanks for sharing !

steph12Participantsimply put, we are VERY lucky that VorpX does exist.
i can still play on my regular monitor games like anno 1800, but 90% of my pc games are played through vorpx or native VR.
when games i want to play with vorpx doesnt actually work, i just wait till they do, the latest being AC valhalla.
i already said it many times, but Ralf should be awarded & recognized by the whole game industry for this incredible software.
steph12Participanti also have my direct vr scan fails sometimes.
when it “fails” i can briefly see the steamVr launching rectangle application on and off while directVr is doing its scanning, like a micro hang thing or something.
i know for sure that direct VR was working perfectly fine like 1 year ago but sadly in my case not anymore.
atm my setup is
5900x
3090 FE
32gb ddr4 3600
w10 20h2
all drivers/bios uptodate
SSDs sata
hx 1200w
valve index (and issue was also on my htc vive)
base stations 1.0my previous hardware
5820k
gtx 1080
16gb ddr4 3000
w10 1904 (and previous versions)
steph12Participantyou’ll have better luck to ask devs directly for a vr native patch/dlc.
steph12Participantuse official vorpx profile and try to create a vorpx shortcut for ori, that worked for me to get G3D working.
steph12Participantthis is such an amazing news ! a dream comes true !
